Lol. I wrench in my 6' tall fenced in backyard not my front yard or my driveway. I can fit 15 trucks in my yard easy. Shit I could fit multiple 18 wheelers. Working in a driveway or the street is trashy. No one wants to see that shit silly ca people.

Actually, I wouldn't half mind a property with no garage/shop but room to build one, if the price were right. Put inlaw quarters/rumpus room/office above it, too...

Right now my truck cannot go in the 1-car detached garage (basically shop space), and when I work on the truck, I'm in the driveway up against a house wall on one side and the neighbor's cinder block wall on the other. To give you an idea, I can fit the width of a 1st gen plus one large garbage can. That was really fun when swapping out my suspension. Rotating tires is pretty snug too. So sick of being cramped.

That's my idea as well. Could afford garage or basement. Figured if I get yard large enough I could add detached garage later for wrenching and a pool table/man cave. Would be about 25k if I did cinderblock walls and typical roof on 2-1/2 car wide x 2 car deep and do allot of work myself.

 AFTERNOON SUSAN! Oh, yelling...sorry

I would love to bike too but there is one intersection that I'm afraid I would get clobbered...lots of traffic trying to make a right on red but they don't usually stop or yield to omcoming traffic

 No basements? Silly.... of course our frost line here is at like 5 or 6 feet so as long as you're pouring concrete why not add a couple of more feet and call it a basement?

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Well, changed the mind on the deck. Just going to keep it 12x12 and do laminate... No point spending the extra cash for extra deck I won't be using.

My old neighbor told me the basement's in my development were a $800 option when the houses were being built. Sadly it's only 7' from slab to stud. One more course of blocks would of been perfect.

One good thing about not having a yard is lack of maintenance. I just about shot my lawnmower to death 10 minutes ago. I rushed out of work and didn't visit my mom tonight so I could mow before the rains come on for days. POS won't start. Couple weeks ago I rebuilt the carb, new air filter, new oil, new gas, cleaned the magneto, new spark plug....and it worked fine. I get done edging and weed whacking tonight and nothing. Cleaned the magneto again and nothing. It's getting gas just no spark. Guess I need to order a new magneto :notsure:

    arghhh

    Canistukia?

Good choice. Laminate is the best. I'm dreading power washing and staining mine this year. If I could do it all over again I would of waited another year while saving up for laminate. Prob was at the time it would of cost be just about double because I wanted 18' boards so there were no splice joints. My deck is shaded most of the day so the wood gets slimy and moldy quick. Think I built it 3-4 years ago.

I HAVE A FUCKING YARD! TWO OF THEM! 5 IRRIGATION ZONES! TOMATOES (REAL ONES). NATIVE AND DROUGHT-TOLERANT PLANTS! DRAINAGE! PATHS! A SHED!

Check the spark plug wire connector for looseness/corrosion.

    And then go fuck yourself.

Mine is as old as the house. Probably been stained twice. I knew it needed replaced when I bought the place but I didn't care. it's sun most of the year since it's on the south side of the house. I may ask them to price retractable awnings while I'm at it.

Welcome to the jungle we got blocks and concrete :D

I keep hearing you say this yet the only pic I see is of concrete :p

Yep. Checked the wire while I had the magneto off for anther cleaning of the surface. Also checked the ground. Looks good. Going to see how much a new magneto is and if it's cheap Ill order it and hope that's the issue. It's all corroded up so that's my only guess. I spaced it perfectly when I put it back on :notsure: It's a 9 year old Toro so I hope that's it. I have treated it great while I have friends who never even change their oil and theirs runs fine year after year.

I've got a 20yo MTD from Home Depot that I've replaced the priming bulb and the starter pull string clutch ball-beaing thingy on, still runs like a champ with oil changes and air filter changes. I had to take the gas tank off this year and clean it out. I think I might put a small lift and some armor on it.
