with truck off, hold odometer button. turn key to ON while still holding the odo button. wait till the flashing goes away where it shows the miles, looks like this (-----). and let go of the odo button. thats it. although ive heard it has to be on the trip A/B option, not sure tho

Before shutting off, make sure the odometer is on the full mileage, not one of the trip setting.

    Shut off truck.

Press down the button that swaps the odometer to the different settings.

While holding that button, turn the ignition to the run setting, not all the way to the start.

You should see the odometer show a series of 5 dashes and one by one the dashes disappear and when they are all gone you have reset the maintenance light.

X2 but I dont think it has to be on the A/B trip mode unless they changed this for the newer models. Just FYI but at 4500K miles the light stays on for a few seconds after the truck is started then goes away but at 5000K it stays on constant until you reset it.

    Build thread coming soon!
This is right off of ALLDATA.

"The engine oil maintenance data should be reset. Perform the following procedures:

    1. Switch the display to trip meter A when the engine is running.
    2. Turn the engine switch to the LOCK position.
    3. While pressing the ODO/TRIP button, turn the engine switch to the ON position. Continue to press and hold the button until the odometer displays "000000".

If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing."
