I would never ever, ever, ever let her drive my truck.

But she is Japanese, with no license. And no experience driving on our side of the car, or road.

My ex never got that memo lol!

I need to find someone like you closer to me. I need to do some learnin. I feel ashamed when I have to admit I'm not entirely sure how to drive a stick lol

This thread is entertaining. It took me a while to get brave enough to allow my ex to drive mine.

My GF abuses her car offroad. HAHA. She hauls ass on the dirt roads in her Civic.

so my reasoning that I dont want her to drive my truck is I dont want her to flip it with something she doesnt know how to handle. Because im certain she would.

The only other people that drive my vehicles are the people at the stealership, when I take it for service or warranty work.

Wife always had her own vehicle. That's why hers is all full of little scratches and shopping carts dents and mine doesn't have any.

We only get manual tran vehicles at our house.

My wife can drive my truck but would rather driver her 535. I let my oldest daughter drive my truck if needed but usually takes her passat wagon.

I have as been teaching my 13 year old daughter to drive my truck on private lands. Teaching a 13 yr old to shift a manual can be interesting.

As long as no one damages my truck I am ok with them driving it.

    +1 on this.

I'll never forget when I brought home my new motorcycle, the first thing I told my kids was if anything happened to the bike, they would die. This was due to the fact that some dents mysteriously appeared in the side of the gas tank of my old bike. The wife turned around and asked me if I thought that was a little harsh. My reply was "No, because that applies to you too." I am pretty much sure this is why she won't drive my truck unless she absolutely has too.
