This frangible projectile is made of compressed, powdered copper and tin and was developed as an alternative to a battering ram. The door breacher produces an effective means of removing locks and hinges from doors constructed of up to 16 gauge steel, while limiting the projection of hazardous debris and collateral damage on the other side of the door.
To be used with Improved Cylinder, Skeet or Cylinder Bore Chokes. Gauge included to check your choke.
Non-returnable item.

The Door Breacher is a 12 gauge cartridge which produces 1,733 foot pounds of energy into an area .75" in diameter. It is constructed of powdered copper and tin. It is a frangible disintegrating projectile which turns to copper dust when a sufficiently hard object is struck, minimalizing penetration through secondary walls and collateral damage.
Projectile weight: 375 grains.
Muzzle velocity: 1375 fps.

Blasts through 3 outer doors - 3/4/2011Reviewer: losticarusA bit pricey, but a must have for when the zombies come. Make sure you have a proper barrel! One shell blasted through 3 outer solid wood doors back to back.

Beats kickin - 5/15/2009Reviewer: SPCI am currently serving in Iraq. As SAW gunner I am also "Breech man" for my team. Usually i would kick a door or use a sledge hammer. Both, however, leave me vulnerable to enemies. On the other hand I aquired some of these from a friend here. And let me tell you nothing says "we're coming in" like blowing the bolt and hinges off a door. Usually we get inside to find all the people with there hands up already. These Iraqis have no respect for the M4. But point that Shotgun at them or near them and they get right quick.

 

Why do you need breaching rounds?

 

Well my brother its like this,,,I really have no need for them I just wanted them
