The "HOW" website is http://heroesonthewater.org/home to learn more.

They are on Facebook too - there is an outing in North Jersey June 15 and another June 29 at Sandy Hook.

I know they are always looking for help and they had a great event last Saturday in Wildwood.

I just signed up to help them out so figured some like minded people in here may enjoy giving back to those who have given so much for us.

Rich forwarded me one of the girls who's volunteering for it e-mail addy and we had a conversation today about it. She had a blast in Wildwood last weekend with the guys. They aren't looking for pity that's for sure - just means to get their minds off of the bullshit. I sure as hell know kayaking does that for me because that's why I go so often so a win win for everyone involved.

    What haven’t I changed?
Pleasant surprise when I got home. Shocks and coilovers arrived! Too bad I won't have the leaf bushings, extended brake lines, and front superbumps until next week.

i didnt really read back on the posts… all i read was "airport" "hotels" and "dead hooker"…so i assume the taco was not available…. but in light of the taco being available…then he got space for 2 or 3 dead hookers traveling quite confortable!
