    Just read your entire build. Nice truck! I really want that ARB compressor. Or any compressor for that matter. I've been thinking of getting a co2 tank but don't know if I can justify the cost.

    I think the FedEx guy is getting tired of me. 100+ lbs of front and rear 3rds. A 65lb guitar amp and now 55 lbs of 3/16" steel goodness.

    I asked the apartment manager to let him in my garage so he can just dump it off the back end of the truck. I hope she did.

    I got the big stuff out of the way on my truck (SAS), got the OK from the wife to scrap my Heep project. Now to put the Chevy 4.3L v6/4L60E into the truck. Yes the truck is a money pit. :pout:

    That's why I took Box Rockets idea and put seats in the bed of my truck, complete with seat belts.

    Ummm, this skidplate has seriously got to weigh more than 55 lbs. I lift weights for fun and this thing is heeeeaaavvvvy. I'm seriously reconsidering the 1/8" version and see if it holds up enough for my needs.

    Don't do it. 1/8" is barely better than the factory skids which are completely useless except to keep weeds from touching your oil pan.

    how much weight is your front end at total... if you add the skid?

    Yeah, I'm going to install it. It will see more abuse than the bumpers.

    So now, I'm considering the aluminium versions of the Elite bumpers. :D
