Got (slightly used) full OME lift for $500 installed!

Rides like a dream compared to my 200k+ OEM stuff that was on there!

Now I need to get some new tires to fill up dem wheel wells :)

    and 2 things.

    1. Guys at toyconnection in Santa Clara are awesome guys, highly recommended if you need anything/need work done.

    2. Any good alignment shops in the bay area? just figured I'd see if I could snag any takers here before heading over to the local forum and asking.

Those are pretty sad. I think mine are worse. Do you have any weight in the back, eg a topper?

+1 in wanting to know the specs of the lift.

I'm thinking of OME all around (881s and dakar leafs) but do not want that much wheel well gap. And I'll be running 31x10.5 r15s for the life of the truck

I don't know man. You think I'm confused in my "what gear oil should I use for my differentials" thread? You should have seen my posts when asking about suspension set ups for my truck.

It's a daily driver/grocery getter that sees moderate wheeling in the spring/summer on trails that are somewhat challenging but nothing crazy gnarly. For the most part it will have a topper on it but when wheeling it will more than likely have a bed rack on it. Bed obviously loaded down with gear.

I want on road rideability and off road performance, and not too much wheel well gap when running 31x10.5 r15s.

After all the responses and pictures, etc... I settled on OME 881s, Dakar leafs :notsure:

Not to mention I have no idea how much that setup you just listed was. The one mentioned was $1200

    Is that a 32x9 r16 equivalent?

Or is my math horribly wrong

What did that set up run you, if you don't mind me asking?

And you know I love your truck... it's 1a/1b IMO.

I have about 2500 into my suspension. Including flip kit and rear fab for shocks and all that junk. Give or take a few hundred.

    Nice.

When it ends with "give or take a few hundred," it's definitely too rich for my blood

So while we're (yall are) on the subject of 31's and wheel gap, when I upgrade to bilstein 5150's up front set at 2.5" and a 2" AAL w/ 5100's in the back, will I have too much wheel gap? I want duratracs but they dont come in 32x11.5 so if I dont have to bump up, I won't. Any insight?

Heard that. I had the rev tech lift first then the billy lift. Finally pulled the trigger on the icon expo set up. Happy i did rides awesome, although a little loose when i took out the sway bar and relocated the rear shocks.

    I don't see a reason to pout over 15's.
I prefer smaller rims, that extra inch is just too much unless you have pretty large tires.

Ummm...thought it was wheelers 5 packs...

    Ha..

    Ou mean 5100 up front.

5150s aren't made anymore and aren't for the front.

15s FTW man. More tire for mor protection to the rim when aired down and way cheaper tires
