Please forgive me but I've been drinking heavily tonight.....
I read this and thought that I'm an idiot. The illustration is wrong.

Then I looked closer, PT is right!

No really, it must be I'm just a Redneck Yeehaw! The bottom line, is this is why Florida had "hanging ballots", "butterfly ballots", pregnant ballots" and whatever. I don't know what the hell I'm doing!

Life is too short to drink shitty beer!

Yesterday I had a bottle of one of the most extreme beers available in the world. A 2007 "The Beast Crand Cru" which is a Belgium strong ale style by Avery Brewing

This beer is over the top on almost any scale you care to measure it by. 68 IBUs from 6 types of hops more than balanced by generous amounts of 5 varities of malts with an OG of get this.... 1.148 OG!!! All lovingly crafted into a beer with a liver tickling 16.42% ABV. (numbers from the brewers site)

I found the bottle text online. These guys write almost as well as they brew.:)

The Beast is a seducer - accomodating, complicated, powerful, dark and created to last the ages. Beyond this, it's futile to attempt to describe Him. He will unveil Himself differently to each of His followers. The mark is in His constitution. Brewed with two-row malted barley, honey malt, and imported Belgian specialty grains (aromatic, pale wheat, roasted wheat, and Special B), hops (Magnum, Galena, Saaz, Hallertau, Tettnang, and Hersbrucker), brewing sugars (raisins, dates, blackstrap molasses, alfalfa honey, turbinado, and dark Belgian candy sugar), water, Belgian yeast and another hellion of a yeast strain.

It is certianly one of the most memorable beers I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. If you like BIG craft brewed beers I recommend searching it out and sharing one with a friend! Yes go ahead and share it with a beer loving buddy. One 12 oz bottle has close to the alcohol content and (retailing at 7.99) the price of a 6 pack of "normal" beer.

    -Cheers!

"Life is too short to drink shitty beer" is the Wickenden Pub's motto rather than a critique on anyones beverage of choice.

Drink what you like... Like what you drink!

I got my nipples pierced yesterday, and I am not sure that I was prepared for the level of annoyance pain that they have caused. I mean I'll be feeling fine and normal, and then stretch too far to reach for something and BAM it's like getting hit with a 2x4.

    OW!OW!OW!OW!OW!OW!OW!OW!OW! Oh, and OWWW!!!!!!

The very thought of nipple piercing makes me cringe. Much like a guy when he sees a picture of another guy getting hit in the nuts. Only higher for me. Nursing babies was bad enough.

Yeah, and saddly I was sober, and paid money for someone to shove big metal needles through my body. Oh well, 6-8 months for full healing...

    Yeah, what was I thinkin'

    I cannot imagine.

Personally I'm planning on leaving this earth with the same number of holes in me that I entered it with. :p

6-8 months if you're lucky. Mine never healed after almost 2 years so I took them out.

You think stretching is bad? Wait until you lift a box up to your chest to carry it, or lean into a tree/shelf/vehicle....

I know a couple guys that have had their kids rip one out messing around.

Make a mental note: babies like shiny things!

    Tiger,

Just for the record I was hoping for something from you that would have been a little more confidence inspiring considering your name and all. :(

No babies in my life, so atleast that's not gonna be a problem...

 The name came from the fact I had 14 piercings and 2 tiger tattoos.

Ears heal faster, but the nipples take a while. Lots of nerves and such. They also have to pull the skin out more than for a woman. So the skin has to stretch and if the jewelry isn't big enough it can migrate out. I think that's what mine started to do. They seemed further from my chest after around 2 years.

Gotta love locking forceps don't you? ;) (assuming they clamped yours before jamming the needle through....)

Sadly, I was sober too. They guy offered to do it for $20 since he was an apprentice and I said F-It! Although a pro did the second one as I had enough time to say "GOD DAMN THAT HURTS!!" during the first one....

On a side note, I wanted 6 spikes in my ears (3 each) and the people asked (with a funny look on their faces) if I really wanted to do them all in the same sitting. Told them I had both nipples pierced in the same sitting and they looked relieved before saying "Go ahead". So if people want to know if you can handle pain, you can always mention that and they'll understand. :D

I hear that, a buddy of mine who took me to his guy yesterday had 21 piercings at one point, so I felt completely confident in the knowledge of the piercer who did my work, but I was initially only going to have one nipple done on my buddys advice who told me he had his done 2 months apart, but when they told me they offered a discounted price for both in the same session, fiscal responsibility won out over common sense and the advice of one who is far more experienced in this than I. Oh well live and learn, I'm sure I'll be more amused with the experience when and if they stop hurting and begin to heal.

Thanks for the info on what to keep an eye out for.

Helps to keep them moist so they don't crust over. Use antibacterial hand soap in the shower to help keep 'em clean. Not like your ears where you don't sweat much, or chafe against clothing.

Barbells or hoops? I got a set of ring opening pliers off eBay real cheap.
From the same person doing this auction. About half what the local stores want for them even with shipping.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/6-Ring-Opening-...photoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

I had this stuff called H2Ocean that was a saline cleansing spray. It helped, but I forgot to use it often. Then again, maybe the gauge of my hoops was too small and the migrating out was why they never healed... I don't know. Debating about doing it again, but the first time is still too fresh in my mind!
