Hello, purchased 03 DC two weeks ago. My 4th Toyota truck, First DC..
    163,000 miles...Silver/gray Int..San Diego..

Would like "Black" floor-mats fiber material that have the stays, Looked at ACC site, did not see DC aval. The stock gray shows grim to easily..
Also need the brackets for bed extender.. Dealer or do we have anther source??

Saw group buy on rotors/pads but can not find it again.... Dang!
With these miles do i need new or can i machine?

    Opinion on Grease-able shackle bushings...
also read that i need to grease u-joints but require specific grease? Type?

Changed timing belt/ flushed rad/did tuneup.. What other items should i be looking at?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sorry, I can't help you with the black floor mats. (I just run the husky floor mats)

As for brakes, I'd just get new rotors. Just go with your local auto store brand. As long as it's a vented design, they will work great... and they're cheap.

For pads, I prefer a higher quality brand pad, like EBC. If you get a pad with a higher friction coefficient and wider temp range, you'll get better braking performance.

I like greasable shackle bolts, but I'm not familiar with greasable shackle bushings. What are they?

For u-joints, I just use a moly grease. It's never caused a problem.

Overall, 163k is fairly low mileage on these rigs. Your power steering pump and starter are the only things I'd keep an eye on, as they tend to wear out around 200k. Both are a fairly easy install.

Congratulations and enjoy you truck. It looks good!

The manual calls for 2 types of grease but I only use one. The mystic (mystiq?) Red tube at walmart. A lot of people like the Lucas red n tacky. I do mine every oil change since I'm under her anyway.

I have brackets on my truck still, didn't come with a bed extender. I thought about getting one, but then I thought straps do just as good. I f you want mine shoot me a reasonable price and shipping address and I'll ad shipping to your price. I can use those flat rate boxes and the post office.

I just bought brembo blank rotors. Shipped for $84 for a pair. Still debating on pads. Thought about hawk lts pads. May stick with Toyota pads though. Just a fyi my dads 02 dbcb has 341xxx miles on it and the only thing he has replaced is the alternator about 4 days ago. He has been easy on it with just routine maintenance.

Brembo blanks are nice. Good pricing on Amazon and on tirerack.com. I went with hawk hps pads and stainless steel brake lines. A lot of people complain about the brakes on these trucks but with my setup I feel like my truck has awesome stopping power and little to no brake fade. I am really confident in the stopping power of my truck.

Shipping killed it for me on tire rack. Also where exactly did you get your stainless steel brake lines? All they direct replacement with no modifications to the truck?

I got them from wheelers offroad. They are a great company to order from. The brake lines that they carry are direct fit and come with a protective coating over the stainless line.
