Probably the hardest part was trimming the excess bolt that comes up right under the axle boot

This morning I get my extended brake lines installed then off to meet the welder this evening to shave off the bump brackets and do the CMCs and shackle flips. Hopefully by the time I'm ready for bed I'll be wayyyy closer to much more trail ready. On a much more aggravating note: SDHQ let me know that my replacement set of shocks won't be shipping from Icon until the 19th! :annoyed:

Denis, I'm pretty certain that the ATO, 4xInnovation and Budbuilt gas tank skids all require the TRD Off Road straps or that you modify yours to have something to mount to.

265/70R17 is a very common OEM size, lots of full sized Chevys run them as well as the FJ Cruisers. Just sayin, Mike might be onto something there if one size has the snowflake and one doesn't. There could be a difference in the tire's compound.

Just don't stick your hoo-hah into the welding leads...

Red labels, huh? Heard they wear very quickly on the road and are very sticky so they can lead to broken axles, CV's and u-joints if you're not careful.

Oh yeah, forgot you have the trail rig... :jellydance:

You'd put Red Labels on the trail rig vs. an overly aggressive M/T????

Yes. You should see some of the rigs on red labels and the things they can accomplish. The only problem is they do not like to be wet.

I didn't know many people out here ran them. I think if I ever got a trail rig, I'd go with some with obnoxious lugs and a very open tread pattern. Possibly even something from the Treadwright line-up.
