Thanks. I have an idea in the works but I'm a grill noob so trying to research LOL

I was trying to find some "grill build threads" but not having much luck. Do they sell these locally, like a sheet that I could trim myself, at like a metal shop or something? And do get the black appearance would I have to spray paint it or do they come powdercoated? :bananadead:

the main thing i would tell them is that you are trying to continue the same service that you had with them and that you are a loyal customer, comcast is willing to transfer your service when moving at no charge. Escalate the situation to a regional manager, that usually helps.

The first person I talked to got an ear full of me bitching about all that. Had no affect. She just told me that it will be billed.

Anyone with a Tacoma without a rear locker need a limited slip? Factory 3.73 ratio. Made a little chatter when turning.

I'm thinking about just cancelling all together and eat that cost. It wasn't a whole lot more to cancel. Piss on them. I'll just stick with netflix

That's what I'm thinking as well. But I have comcast with all HD movie channels paired with Internet for 95 a month. Not a bad deal, thinking about canceling it just keeping Internet with Netflix and Hulu.

did you see my mesh grill?
I just got mesh at Home Depo, and painted it with some bedliner spray paint to add a little thickness.
    You doing a satoshi thing?

i thought about that too but canceling the cable service and just keeping the net will run about what $60 a month so in my eyes not worth it. i love TV to much

Yeah I think I can prolly swing it a little cheaper. I do all my negotiations with the regional manager of the Denver area. He hooks it up pretty good. But I'm just getting cheap lately and trying to find where I can save more money. Plus if I didn't have tv to watch all the time id be more productive.... I think.

I had big dreams for that basement. I could have helped since I won't have tv here soon

Sort of. I have an addition I want to do though if the other thing I have planned doesn't work. A close up pic of yours would be cool. What did you use to get the mesh to stay? I haven't looked at my grill yet but I think I'm planning on keeping the chrome on the outside and just cutting out the inner part but seeing as it's plastic, I'm not sure how I'd be able to connect the mesh to it. But like I said I haven't really looked at it yet.

A small handful of select mods.
If you bend the mesh correctly you can rivet to the plastic surround or a lot of guys will zip tie it with some quality zip ties. As far as paint, IMO since that will be in front of rocks, bugs, and liquid de-icer I would Powder Coat it after you pre-fit it and have it ready to go.

Also try to find aluminum mesh so you do not have to worry about rust.
