    Mine is mounted in a similar fashion on top of my cap.

    Got blown around a bit more with a few stiff breezes but nothing that was unmanageable.

    You are dead on correct. They have to have a means of access and egress from the trench; these idiots didn't even bring a trench box to the project, they are placing their spoil piles on the trench edge (must be minimum of 2' away). If OSHA were to roll through the site - they guys would be shut down instantly.

    the tents do great in wind but the trucks tend to sway as the winds get under the tent and try to lift everything...was in a bad storm in mine a couple of weeks ago. guessing 30+ mph gusts.

    I found out smaller tile can actually be a lot easier. Mine were 18x18 and it still took me over a weeks worth of time to do it.

    Did you leave any room for grout between the tiles? hard to tell from the pic.
