Yes it did, when i bought my truck new in 08 i was 20, insurance was $240 a month, its down to $146 a month now, it will go down more if i get the brz since it will no longer be my daily driver. They quoted me $125 for the brz if i put it as my daily.

I like the feel of turning a key to start, never been a push button start person.

I can understand that, it took me awhile to get used to not using a key, i really have no preferance.

As for your insurance, is that quote for 2 vehicles? And is that full coverage on both?

At 28, I'm paying 88 for full coverage, single vehicle, daily driver.

I'm glad I live in a good neighborhood.

But for those wondering my insurance rate is about the same for the FRS vs. my '04 Tacoma. I guess that's the balance between a newer/safer vehicle and an older/cheaper one that isn't a sports car.

BTW - insurance tip, if you keep both list them with about equal mileage or at least try to keep them both below the low mileage cutoff. I think it's around 7500 miles for most companies. If you put less than that on the car each year it drops your rates considerably.

Wow...we just switched our insurance. We pay $535 to insure both the FR-S and my wife's 2012 Land Rover LR2 for 6 months......full coverage, $250 deductible.

    edit: the split between the two - FR-S $274, LR2 $261

Well, got a call from the dealer this morning, seems they are not able to get the color/model I wanted like they thought. So long story short, they gave me a better deal and I have one on order from the factory (8-12 weeks :(). But if what im looking for becomes available they will offer that to me as soon as they find out.

Shitty wait times but factory order might be worth it. Get exactly what you want.

Heading up to Nashville, Tennessee in the mornin to test drive! They've got 6 Fr-s's at the moment- black, silver, and hot lava in automatic and 3 white manuals. I'm probably lookin mostly at the silver. Think I'd rather have a white auto though. Any last minute suggestions?
