    Not so.
But assuming they can do what they want and have more liberties than they think they have, that seems to be the real trouble zone.

Hey, does the word Denali mean anything to you out of curiousity?

yeah I apologize for being part of derailing this thread

back to the original topic. don't do it electronically if you don't want it exposed someday

because logging, collecting, and tracking will only get better as time moves on

I still don't see what a person's politics has to do with the topic of this thread.

People on both ends of the spectrum are for and against these collections. And if you are not talking about the NSA surveillance, or the correlations thereto, maybe a greater effort to stay on topic would be necessary.

Sure, little stuff is no big deal(still against the Framers ideas)
The problem is, it opens up the book to things beyond the "little stuff"
See, they knew what the "little stuff" would lead to
That is why they drafted the BoR and the COTUS
People need to open their mind up a little and look at HISTORY

I don't disagree there. But the point I'm hoping to make is while there are some clear violations, American as a total start acting like "oh that's a violation too... and that.... and that". There are some things out there that aren't violations, some people just don't like them.

The problem, in this scenario, is that there are no violations -- due to the Patriot Act.

As far as NSA surveillance goes, time will tell. I don't like the direction its heading, hopefully in the end it'll prevent more than it hinders. As far as privacy rights, this will be as easy to resolve as all political issues, it never will be.
