Not really true, for the same reason you mention. Off road is a lot more forgiving on variance in tire size. I'm not saying run around with 4 different sized tires, but there is some give.

Did any of you figure out a cheaper option of sound deadening ?

 

I haven't tried anything yet, but billy and i were talking about it. Maybe he tried something when he installed his speakers

 

At least a couple of seasons depending on what you do with them. Vague statement I know.

 

Home Depot sells stuff for flat roofs. It's a patch I think idk ill look tomorrow but its a tar sheet have them in my truck on the doors.

 

Peel and stick or something like that

 

Some people have good luck with peel and stick. I would be afraid my truck would smell like tar of a hot day

 

I think i would rather stuff some insulation in there before i started sticking asphalt products to anything. Once that stuff sticks the only way to get the residue off is some harsh chemicals or gasoline

 

Nah, you wouldn't have to replace all 4. There's a lot of slippage off road and you can get away with patching and plugging in a way that would never fly on the road.
