    Lame. that was my second guess. Third would be that it didnt fit in the tacoma!

    that was the only time we didnt ride with gear. it was so freakin hot & we did so many stop and go's that it wouldve been unbearable to wear our jackets.

    i dont think i saw anyone up there with any protective gear that went on this ride. it lasted from 9am - 5pm. hell i even got water blisters & wore sunscreen that still apparently let me burn :(

    BULLFROG!! Skeet it.. uhh Apply It evenly over all "exsposed" areas..


    Im not as light skinned as you are, but i def burn easily on my face, chest and back.. my arms have gotten kinda use to it after being in the desert soo long

    thats what i used. i always use bullfrog bc its not greasy to me. at least the gel isnt. so apparently i burn with spf35. time to break out the 85spf next time

    hell, i think i saw a 90spf the other day... couldve been the heat gettin to me when we stopped at a store durin the ride though :rolleyes:

    i will have to find it again, but i read somewhere that SPF is only good up to like 65.. everything after that is BS that they are just trying to charge more for

    SPF is a formula to determine how long it provides protection from the sun.

    For example: For the normal person, If it takes 12 Minutes to burn than SPF 10 will provide 120 minutes of protection.

    The formula is effected by people skin types IE higher SPFs

    Any SPF over 50 is basicly BullS**t, as Sunscreen should be reapplied ever 3 hours or after any exstensive sweating, rubbing or swimming. No Sunscreen provides True allday protection!
