    Anyone using different switches than what came with the wiring harness? If so, which ones? I wanted to mount it in one of the blanks under the A/C controls.

    Just be careful if that is what you decide to do. Once you cut the harness, you have voided your warranty.

    I tried fishing through the website about any warranty issues with using an alternate switch and found nothing. Only that the warranty is for the lights, light mechanism, and circuit board. I suppose if another switch was improperly installed and caused some type of malfunction to the light, that would void the warranty.

    That's funny, perhaps Chris has changed it. But I do remember reading somewheres on the website and it stated that if you in any way cut the wiring harness, you have voided the warranty. I specifically remember reading that and it was probably 3 or 4 months ago.


    Edit - just combed through the website and in fact that was removed from the website.

    Right in the description for the harness it states - IF YOU ALTER ANY PART OF THE HARNESS YOU VOID ANY WARRANTY ON THE HARNESS AND THE LIGHT BAR!!!

    Not the best pic...the sun isn't cooperating. The 30 fits perfectly in the lower front grill of a 2013. Took about 1.5 hours to install. Hardest part was trying to mount the light without removing the bumper. The plastic grill comes right off. Wiring was a breeze with the supplied switch. Extremey bright at night. I took pics with my phone, but they looked very crapy...didn't come close to doing it justice.

    Now I need a lift and tires....
