Looking at a 2004 taco tomorrow. It's a 2WD with TRD package. It's only got 65k miles on it. Seller is asking 13.5k though, thoughts?

No it's an extra cab. I can't find a single double cab with under 100k miles under 15k

It's Almost Impossible, it Took Me Almost 6 Months, Within Minutes On Craigslist Etc They Would Be Sold. I Ended Up Getting A 2001 4X4 Db Cab With 106,000 For13.5 From A Dealer, Which At The Time Was Under Or At Kbb.

Thats what they are going for everywhere with those miles, If it is clean inside and out, original owner & maintained... get it! very very difficult to find that year with those low miles..Just be sure you want the Xcab not DC.. 100K on theses trucks/engines is nothing to be concerned about...
Confirm it is not a Salvaged vehicle....
    You won't regret it....

Just purchased 03 TRD,2wd, DC, 161,000 $10G...in decent condition.. Not perfect.. has minor dents along bed, interior 6 out of ten but is was the best i could find for that price... I feel Lucky to have her..

That price sounds right. If he owner knows what he has and what it's worth, in the condition that it is he should be very firm on the price. I paid 14k with 65k miles same truck just 4x4 and sr5. Since then I have had o do nothing other than the regular scheduled maintenance. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks guys, I'd honestly rather have a DC but I'm kind of "settling" for an extra cab. I don't have much time to be picky.

Another truck popped up today. An 04 dc with 80k miles with a Trd supercharger also. I don't know much about superchargers, does age effect them at all? It's been on the truck since it was first bought. Also, how do they sound? I don't want a loud annoying sound.

S/C. Get moving. We'll all fix it... real good. Inspect the frame carefully for rust.

Stock as Stock can be with duratracs and a roof rack
Be careful as the supercharger can damage the automatic tranny if it hasn't been modded properly with the valve body upgrade.

If the guy hasn't the proper fuel mod upgrades you could end up paying an additional 800-1100 for the injector kit

80k is the perfect time for some routine maintenance so it will last a good long time but yes any maintenance records of work done would be nice. Good luck.
