I wish someone did before I got the 5.29s:(

But yeah, even the slightest incline I'd start to lose power at highway speeds.

Yes it only helps if your going downhill lol

You truck has to work much harder to turn the larger mass. So no..don't expect better mpgs. Best I've gotten babying the fuck outa my 33s with no roof rack and going 60 most the time and drafting a big rig. Was 18. That was last year on the way back from lander.

Now I weigh about 500lbs more so I doubt ill see that again.

    Trust us mark..you'll need 4.88s at least..if not 5.29s

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Nope you need to re gear if your going 35's. with your little I4 your going to hate 35's i didn't like 33's and the SCed V6 that much with stock gears. Now with the 37's and 5.29's and the SC my truck screams and I've got a few more mods I'm doing to the motor :D

Oh you guys. I'm already used to slow. No amount of sluggish turd would surprise me lol!

But I hear yall. I'll just be waiting a while for this project. Next spring maybe. Certainly going to put that re gear off as long as humanly possible. Go head and flame lol.

I feel like it drives a bit easier with weight in the bed. Better weight distribution. :notsure:

BTW, I'm officially dedicating this build to my ex-wife.

Then your next mod should either be a huge middle finger coming off your stinger...

...or a 4' dildo CB antenna.

    Either one.

 Dude... haha even with my 5.29s, I so wish I had a crawl box! Would have made Helldorado a whole lot easier, that's for sure...
    Yup.
Sorta.......... but only if that highway was perfectly flat or going downhill. :p

Wouldn't necessarily cruise "better," it would just cruise at lower RPMs. Too high of a gear ratio (numerically low), and the hills become harder to get up, your MPG will ultimately suffer, and unnecessary stress will be placed on the engine/drivetrain. Es no bueno, senor.

    Regear > Lockers > Crawlbox
Wait.... You wish you went with 4.88s??? you would lose even more power on those inclines.......
Yep... Dude, I wish I had a SC.... or maybe even 5.71s. lol I miss how 5.29s and 35s felt!!! :(

No, I wish I spent the money on a crawl box instead. The benefits of going to 5.29s weren't worth it and I can't keep them when I SAC, unlike the aforementioned crawl box.

Eh, I get 14-15 pretty much all the way around with my 33's, stock gears and v6. Loaded, unloaded, Town driving or highway, wheeling once in awhile, heavy foot or not I never see much of a change. I don't think many of us do worse than that. After college I see a turbo or sc I my future, as well as 35's and 4.88's
