Now that is cool. I had a choice btwn the silver and the super white when I bought this, went with the silver, kind of regretted it since. If I had the super white I'd do this in a heartbeat. Nice.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.

Keep it. The force is strong in you.

I helped a good friend of mine change his intermediate shaft#2 (lower one that hooks up to the rack) it surprisingly went well.
Maybe 2006 Tacoma NB can chime in later

    Yep.
How did you go about this? I have a lot of chips around the Taco and a bunch are starting to rust... not to mention where I got keyed down the right side two years ago

Do you park under a power line? May be caused by bird poop.

Thanks for your time and in depth reply. Since we no longer have carbs on cars or trucks it would be used for my small engines (lawn mower, snow blower, string trimmer, backpack blower etc) as you state. Thanks again for the clarification.

FYI I have found Start Your Engines 2 B excellent for small engines with gummed carbs. Your don't have to rebuild your gummed carbs. I used 2 start them with either now just choke and pull cord. I got it at Walmart cheap - lot less then a carb kit.

Looks like an animal path to me. Cat perhaps or squirrel since it is in one long spot from front to back.

Had the 100K mile transmission service done and the front brake rotors turned. while there they did the drive train greasing and tightened the propeller bolts. I waived all recalls so they did not flash the ECU with the brake over ride program. cut off my gas pedal or mess with my Weathertechs and the floor mats. I told the service writer that I had practiced for it already even though it will never happen. Foot off the gas, slip it into neutral, turn the key off and guess what, the engine dies and you roll to a stop. :) In my practice case I just re-cranked the engine and slipped it into gear and went on.

I never did understand how anyone could let a car or truck accelerate by itself to 100+ mph. Never made any sense 2 me. I'm pretty sure I know how to turn the key off but it might be good to practice just so I can do it w/o thinking. So far my Taco hasn't gone any faster then I want it to.

One of my local shops did it for me. My gf's godparents know the guy so they hooked me up. For the roof, grille and eyelids it was $250. Not to bad

Yeah could of been . Not under power lines but near some trees at my old house.

I was thinking something like this too. I washed my truck and about 2 weeks later it looked like this. Like out of nowhere
