I don't care at this point, I need to get out of the house lol to many girls showing up here, and a trail sounds awesome right now...I'm cool with getting tugged everywhere but don't write me off just yet! I've got through some random shut before that 4WDs were taking forever on

 

That place isnt close to me, about an hour and half drive....if I am gonna drive that far I would just go to Ocotillo Wells and drive a few more minutes..

I am going to PV the morning anyway to ride, dont want to go 2 days in the row anyway. I cant afford the cost of 2 longer trips in the same weekend.

 

Well I'm cool with hittin LW, if it gets too rough I can just park it and ride along with someone else...

Behind the AM/PM on Deer springs road off the I-15, at the end of the Cul-de-sac.

I have never been there with a 2wd before and theres a lot of steep stuff so I wouldnt know how to go to the 2wd friendly areas since I am always tooling around in the hills.

Where I normally enter from Deer springs (not near AM/PM) you wouldnt even make it up the hill (no joke). Would need to start towing from the getgo, lol

Worst case, I go to PV and end my day with some fishin' out at Cuyamaca

 

I forgot your 2wd, and I dont know how to play out in LW and avoiding the major hills. Too many canyons and valleys. PV has more stuff set up for 2wd and markers to show you where to and not to go, LW is just trails every which direction....and I dont know it well enough to keep on the less difficult trails.

AND there is no fishing out there, lol

 

Well I'm pretty good at judging what I can and cannot tackle...that locked rear end helps me out alot...if there's alot of trails I can just find the 2WD friendly ones...like I said, short of rock crawling, I can pedal to the medal through alot of stuff.

I've got a pretty good suspension set up these days, some dude just installed it and tweaked it all good for me

I did very well on my trip through LW. There were 3 of us and me the only 2wd. Only needed assistance once cause I had to stop going up a steep run to wait for the slow 4wd. Killed my mojo. Fun run though.

I went once with a 2wd and it was a tugfest, probably because I was leading...

I put it in 4wd and HAMMER DOWN! None of that slow crap.

I dont know why some of the 4wd guys think that they need to drive slow, sissies!

But I drive a Jeep so maybe the 4wd Tacos are different

 

I'm pretty balls to the wall when I offroad...it's always afterwards that I think "maybe I should have gone a little easier....naaahhh" if I had fun, it was worth it
