    Bone stock for now....

You must be from southern Maine. No one north of Augusta would be caught dead in a Ridgeline, unless you're within 20miles of a college campus and those will have flatlandah plates.

My Maine "camp" is 1.5 miles down a dirt road and mud season would swallow a Ridgeline whole.

yup. I have ridden in a co-workers Ridgeline 5 times, driving from
Portland (where the owner is) past Bangor and even up to Loring...

    1) It is NOT a truck, it is an SUV with open storage in the back
    2) very comfortable and handles well when empty
    3) With 900 lbs load of copper wire, drove like a bus with broken tie rod
    and no brakes

North of Augusta you get made fun of for driving a Tacoma also... Last few times I've been up there I've had old farts poking fun at my Tacoma when I stopped for gas. I camp pretty far north though. All the trucks up there are full sized Ford, Dodge or Chevy.

Ridgelines are kinda neat looking and all, but as far as I'm concerned, they aren't real trucks. I wouldn't try to use one like a real truck, anyways. (Heavy towing, off-roading, etc.)

WOW, any of this "true life" or just internet talk....

I just traded an '07 Ridgeline for my wife Lexus :)..we did not need 2 trucks......Residual on Hondas is great and dealership winced when I stuck to my "Guns" on the trade value...

Towing capacity in REAL WORLD....Towed a dual axle trailer with a Grady White on its back ;Bath Maine to FT.Myers Florida with a Pilot ( Ridgelines SUV twin) and then used the Ridge to move it full time while visiting down there..Much easier than using the F-150..:D

Dual tailgates are SWEET....ad a Pace Edwards cover and watch your life get EASIER ....Wife enjoyed this and convenience was the WORD...

ONLY downfall; Gas mileage did suck in town.....Main reason it was traded...The ES Lexus easily gets twice the MPG's :p.....BUT it is a car and will never replace the Ridgelines utility...

Yes , I LOVE my Toyotas BUT with the great luck I have had with these My Dad had with his Hondas...

OP, you want one...Buy it ....they can easily be as reliable as these Yotas!!!....Oops. let me correct that ....As reliable as 1st Gen Yotas...

It's interesting to see the Avalanche still outselling the Ridgeline after Avalanche production had discontinued...

the Ridgeline is more expensive. Thats bound to impact sales. IIRC, The base price is around 36,000 bucks.

I had a 2011 Ridgeline RTL. I liked it a lot too. It's a long story as to why I got rid of it. Went to a 2012 Camry SE then to Tacoma. Anyway, the RL did exactly what I wanted it to do. It hauled cargo just as we'll, if not better then my Taco before I added the helper springs to my Taco. I have not towed with either.
The ride on the RL is very good, the engine is smoother than the Taco, the interior is roomier, the bed trunk is extremely useful, the dual action tailgate is a great feature, factory sunroof, factory power rear window slider, but gas mileage is similar to my Taco. No it's not an off roader. Wasn't intended to be. The RL is what it is.
All of the comments here about the RL being gay and not a real truck are humorous. The vehicles I drive will never define my manhood. The RL is a good SUT and should have been marketed way better then Honda marketed it.
I do like my Taco very much but had to chime in on some of the RL bashing.

Actually they do have a full size spare and it is much easier to access that my Tacoma.

Just a bunch of old crap
I like Honda reliability. My only real qualm with the RL is that odd sloping bedrail angle. It just looks like it was cut wrong, or as someone said before somewhere, "an SUV with a birth defect". Otherwise, while not truly defined as a truck, it's a comfortable road ride with added outer storage. It's the El Camino of the future, but one that the chicks would be willing to ride in.

That and its exterior dimensions are closer to full-size trucks, without full-size power or hauling capability.

Toyota went on the record about a year ago stating the next Tacoma will be traditional body-on-frame, as the healthy sales indicate there's solid demand.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I dunno. Honda is just...BORING....and expensive. A Supercharger could be interesting, though.

Full size spare is listed as an option. I'd like one, but I'll bet most owners will just call AAA instead of springing for it.

    oh ok.

and I don’t have AAA, don’t really care to get it either. the likely hood of me needing them is so slim, i’d rather just pay a tow truck or something to come get me. if i get a flat i’ll just change it my self like i did in the scion Xb when i got a flat in it. damn pot hole busted the side wall out.

Interestingly enough, in 12 years of driving I have never had to change to the spare tire. I get more use out of a portable air compressor. One time the leak was faster, and I still was able to limp to a repair shop by pumping the tire back up every 20 minutes.

hahaha, speaking of spares, I need to get a 31 one to go under my truck. My grandpa had put this cable and lock on the original 28" no telling how many years ago and I went to remove it a couple months ago after getting bigger tires, turns out the padlock had corroded so badly that I had to get out the bolt cutters. That hardened steel is a real but to cut.

I have a friend that lives in Ashland (just south of Fort Kent) he works for 7 Islands I don't know if they hide the Tacoma but when they go into the woods they take the Taco the Chevy's they take to town.
