Bump! I got my kit yesterday and the worst part was popping the back of the switch out. I could see the area of the tabs splitting even while I was being gentle. So they are split but not completely broken.

I went the direct route and just went straight to the A/C panel wiring. Just make sure you reverse the colors from the switch to the panel if you do. The written directions are if you solder to the rear of the switch. Looks awesome, thanks rcbs204!

Because Toyota Changed the switch so it will no show light through. All the letters and symbols are painted on. Only the Arrow is opaque. ie....... Only the arrow can be illuminated on a 2013.

Never had them open it before.
There is a circuit board with wiring attached and a M3x2.5mm screw all in a ziplock bag.

I would not get concerned for any canada shipments unless it has been longer than 45 days. Just ask OZ how long my shipments take to get there. You are not alone with the canadian post. I am not sure what the heck takes so long with my stuff, but i try and avoid shipping two units, because you will only have to pay to ship one back.

RCBS204 is a standup guy. Does quality work at a reasonable price. You'll be happy with the new lit up switch. I know I am with mine since I got it months ago. I also pimp his work when I meet a Taco owner that doesn't have his switch lit up.
