Hello guys/gals. I'm new here so this is my first post. Been researching here ever since I got my 2009 dbl cab TRD sport a year or so ago. So I thought I had narrowed it down to the right lift for me from all of the hours of post I've read, but it didn't turn out as planned. I wanted 2'' up front (to avoid excessive angles and to help with alignment) and about 1 1/2" of lift in the back. Only going to run 265/70/17's. So I got 884's for front and 1 1/2" AAL for the back, paired with Bilstein 5100's all the way around. I set the front at 0" lift also. Well these are my numbers after settling for two weeks:
    before lift fd-34 1/4" fp-34 3/4" rd-35 1/4" rp-35 1/4"
    after lift 37 1/4" 37 1/2" 37 1/4" 37 1/4"

I would like just a little rake without raising the rear anymore. Any ideas on how I got that much lift out of the 884's or of a way to get the front end to come down 1/2" or so without re-doing everything?? Of course alignment didn't get to the numbers I gave them per research off this site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That was from ground to fender edge. Center of wheel to fender is 23" on all except fp is 23 1/4".

same as above, I was nose high added a 1.5" AAL and should have waited as I think I would be perfectly level without AAL the front settled quite a bit now.

Anyone ever cut some off the coil with a cutoff wheel or something similar? Like a few inches or so.

don't cut those coils! they will settle down a little more as time passes. take the truck for a good workout where it gets flexed out well to work things in a little more. i run 884's on my reg cab, mind you it has a 85lb bumper and some sliders adding weight to them but still lighter than your truck, i also run the small top plate spacers and it's settled nicely after being wheeled a bit and a few thousand miles. leave it as is and you will likely end up happy with it.

Ok, I'll try and hold out and give them some time to settle.

Take measurments from center of hub to bottom of fender on level ground. If you think something might be wrong post some pictures of your set up and maybe someone will notice something. If you want to try to get them to settle, take your sway bar off conpletely and flex the suspension a bunch then take measurments again and see if anything changed.

Ok. It was 23" from center of hub to fender I believe.

Thats about what i am at with 885s on a access cab. Nitrochargers though, which i dont think should make a difference.

It should settle to 2-2.5. I have 885's with billes at 0 and have 2.5PF and 2 DF after they settled on a DCLB. I need to add a 1/4 spacer to drivers side to fix the lean

Well I couldn't stand it, so today I pulled out the OME 884 coils an put back in the factory coils. I set the the Bilsteins on the 1.75 ring and reassembled everything. After driving it to work it measured out at maybe 1/4-3-8" lower than the 884's. I was hoping to get it at 2" of lift in the front. So if by the weekend it hasn't settled out anymore, I might do it again and try the .85 notch. Just wanted to share my results.

And just for anyone who cares about the color coding on the factory coils, supposedly the green stripe ones go on the drivers side and the lite blue goes on the passengers. I got that after I couldn't find it online, and after calling 3-4 different places. None of them could tell me by looking at their info on computer, so my local dealer checked a 2013 on the lot and told me green stripe one was on the drivers side. So hopefully 2013's are the same as my 2009.?
