Yep, nobody has said otherwise anyway and I hear others fine. The sliders need paint bad now though. I think I hit every skid in Moab too.

    Sweet man!

I doubt you see as much carnage here...least I wouldn't think..maybe..idk how a 2nd gen will take to it. And how much it'll change with the run off. Which will be a lot this year :D so hopefully it's fun!

    Either will be beautiful :)

Well the plan as of right now is to be using my rack that goes over the softopper. I plan on doing that because this is going to be a 6 week road trip for me and I want to be able to store stuff in the bed and keep that stuff out of the elements. I might be stuffing the Box Rocket rack in the bed and bringing it for a member in Wy that wants to buy it, if they still want it at the time of my departure.

Yes to CB, it is all tuned up and works fine. I have sliders, but unfortunately no skids. If I did decide to buy a skid(s) before I leave, which skid would you say would be most beneficial for these trails we will be doing? I'm on 33's with Dakar leaf pack in the rear and toytec ULK coilovers up front set at 3", so my clearance should be sufficient.

Talking about CB's, my 2' antenna has worked great so far. The 5 foot really just cleans everything up, haven't been that impressed with the 5 foot over the 2 foot honestly... It's not how long your DICK is, it's how you use it :p

Man does this look like a blast of a trip!
I would love to go, but $ will not allow.
I took a CO trip a few years ago.
My wife & i took her grand cherokee on cinnamon trail out of silverton.
What a great little town, with lots of trails heading out into the mountains toward gunnison. Great section of the state, if u like dirt trails with views that take u over 14k feet. Another great run is south of cripple creek (like to gamble?). There is fourmile canyon with a narrow dirt track running from cripple creek to canyon city. My buddy had the sweats due to cliffs on one side, & mountain on the other. We ended up at royal gorge if u like the tourist thing. What a great state.

How do you know it's me :spy: Oh, right, cuz there's only like a million members in WY.......

I've got another solution to mount my tent so I can actually use the tent on this trip, probably too low for the long term though.

    Ha!
I was aiming to have a rack I could still have my bike fit under but i'd need 15" of clearance above the bed rail which means all numbers tallied up I couldnt get in my garage... So I ordered a pair of relentless bars and will weld on tabs/kickouts...whatever... to mount my bikes to alongside the rtt.

Yes Monte, you convinced my wife that an rtt is awesome. She nor I didn't want to go the majority of the summer without one before we pulled it off for winter, so boom, I ordered one. Am I kicking myself my wife nixed the GB and I didnt order anyways? hell yea, but boby is a straight up dude i've gathered from the amount of time i've spent on the phone with him and how much praise everyone else gives him so i don't feel bad at all.

    Anyways, that's what's happening.

You know I told Boby you sold it for me. He better send you another awning :p lol

    I got a Shasta.

Yea, I think the relentless rails will work out pretty well. Ultimately I will probably want to build some sort of actual rack. I was gonna ask you if you could help me rig one up but seeing as your in AK that doesn't work to well :(

Yea, tacomaworld is kinda goofy in that sense compared to other similar stuff i've been around. I'm sure you have some idea but you have tons of influence on what other people search for and ultimately buy. Good vendors usually recognize that. I could have bought any rtt but I got first hand experience with your CVT and just knew I didn't care to take a chance on something else.

Yea I know..haha it's crazy. But I've helped a few vendors lots that's for sure. I've been repaid by a few too so that's nice too :)

But cvt is great purely for Bobby. Best freakin dude ever for customer service. Although Tim at elite is right up there with him.

But I have big plans drawn up for a web site and some other stuff. Be at least two years before that takes off tho.
