A new Tacoma without all the BS?

    The computers are a whole lot faster then you are and they do the same thing every time. They were not designed to play in the dirt they were designed for every day driving for the masses. Turn it off go play leave it on on the hard top so you don't run into me sliding sideways.

    So no big deal then. Leave the electronic driving aids on pavement, push-off VSC (and side curtain airbags!) off road. VSC can brake individual wheel(s) to keep the vehicle pointed; a human can't do that through the brake pedal.

    And VSC/traction control can benefit even highly-skilled drivers. That's why Formula One uses electronic driving aids when they aren't banned by the rules. The difference is in calibration. If Toyota engineers had their way, VSC wouldn't intervene so aggressively. However, nanny mags like Consumer Reports then go on a crusade and label the vehicle unsafe. It happened with the GX460.
