Considering it seems to be sold by luxury car dealers, I wouldn't think so.

Give Brian a call or email him at www.bndautomotive.com. Best to call as he is the ultimate oil guru and will custom blend oil to your vehicle. Thousands of satisfied users backed up with real data and oil sample analysis. You will be surprised at how lacking Mobil 1 really is compared to the quantumblue custom blended oil sold by him.

Here is the specials for June. http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165429
You can also research his products on that site. Lots of satisfied users. A buddy of mine swears by it and my Charger will be getting Quantumblue and Aces IV next week. I was quite skeptical till I did some research on it and talked to him on the phone. Really nice guy and does not push his product on you

$50/gallon including his (unknown quality) oil filter?

    No thanks.

Yea i know what you mean. My buddy and most members are getting 10,000 to 12,000 miles per oil change that is monitored thru oil analysis from an independent lab. I am a major gear head and have been a Mobil 1 and Amsoil fan for many years. I do not consider myself to be a fan boy to any particualr brand and want the best fluids for my vehicle. Yes its a bit on the expensive side but worth it if it helps provide additional protection for my Hemi Charger. Is it worth the additional money over Mobil 1, Pennzoil Ultra, Amsoil, etc is totally up to you.

BTW, here is some more info on his oil filter
    http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149742&highlight=filter

Brian will literally answer any question and you might have concerning his products and never be asked/pressured into buying anything from him. I will find out first hand next week. Trust me if i am not happy with his products ill be sure to voice my opinion but he does make a lot of sense in what he says and can back it up.

I agree with his point on the filter bypass (though with proper oil weight, it should not happen), but he's comparing to the M1/K&N.

    I run OEM Toyota.

Mobil 1 seems to be some great oil, I compared the viscosity specs to Amsoil and they're about the same. Mobil 1 Extended Performance is about the same price as Amsoil, they seem roughly similar in terms of quality and price.

I figure I'll go ahead and stick with Amsoil and buy it from my local guy. Why not? Local guy running a small business out of his house, I call him and order what I want, pick it up the next morning and it's right there on his porch boxed up with the invoice, we have a chat and I'm on my way.

I've dyno'd with Mobile 1 Synthetic vs conventional oil and gain a little HP/TQ at the wheels. But I went to Royal Purple after the Mobile 1 and gained more HP/TQ and more MPG. Mobile 1 is a decent oil, but it's not the best. I will stick by Royal Purple and Amsoil, with Royal Purple still being the best I've used.

Starting to doubt that Mobli 1 is that great. Last oil change i used Valvoline synthetic it was not as black as mobli 1 get when i changed it.

RP Didn't do any better than Castrol GTX.

They spend more money on marketing and product placement on TV shows than they do on producing a quality product.

I've been running Castrol in my truck. Can't really give an opinion, cos I have yet to run anything else in it. I used to run plain old Advance Auto crap in my Honda, but I'm trying to treat my vehicles better now, so... no more of that. :D

The one you change on a regular basis. Old Tacomas or "pick-ups" ran a for a long time on conventional oil. Be it synthetic or conventional, I change it when supposed to and both seem to work the same. Rest to me is marketing gimmicks as I don't run my truck at high rpms for extended periods of time like formula racing drivers. My .02.

That's not the best comparison I've seen. Different driving patterns temps, etc... I mean it's good to see something like that though. Keep in mind every vehicle will like a different oil better than the other. With oil change it when you're supposed to.... don't worry about it lol.

Royal Purple did gain me HP/TQ and MPG. I ended up changing it in the engine, rear end, transmission, and power steering in my 2002 STS Turbo Camaro after I saw gains with just the engine oil.
