Ah no need for prototypes.. They'll be going on my truck first thing! I got it all figured out on paper, will have to see why happens when I actually start bending :spy:

Hey man how did you build your subwoofer box? Is there a DIY guide on here or do you have any tips? Thanks

I actually just unbolted the metal shelf back there and cut the center out leavin the bolt holes then fiberglassed a box around the edges of it so it's bolt in and can be removed... I did a half assed write up on here, I'll look for it and send you the link otherwise I may just go on and make a full on write up for it!

I will say it's an awesome setup and I will build another one for the other side but the space is very very limited at only abt .4cu^ do the best I've found for it is a 8" alpine type R. May be others tht work good too but there's also only abt 5" of mounting depth..

ok great! if you find the write up please PM me. I have a 12inch alpine type r that i wanted to sell but no one is in the market to buy a sub so i guess its going in the taco lol. Its in a huge box now that doesnt fit in my xtra cab.
How does it sound though? No rattles?

You two :jelly: fagots can GTFO!! :D
If its so gay then why do you keep coming back and hanging out in it...

As for the sub box, it sounds amazing IMO! I've only run a type s 10 on an mrp500 which is perfect power wise but the space is limiting the sub.. So I have a type r 8 on the way and it should handle it just fine! The type s does really well on certain songs with the lows and rattles my mirrors.. But I think the 8 overall will sound better and like I said I'll probably build another box on the otherside as well! & I didn't look for the write up but send madjik_man a pm and see if he has the one I wrote a long time ago for him still, other wise when I'm sitting around at the hotel I'll try to do a write up on my phone, don't know how well that will work but I'll try it for you

Any pictures of how you mounted the lights behind the grille?
