i hate Sandys. If i ever saw the owner id punch them in the face. Locked my keys in my WRX 3 years ago they scratched the entire door, interior trim and tint and they said "its your fault we are not liable" BS you did it you fix it.

Weird, usually they don't do that. Especially if it was a AAA call. AAA will throw their own employees under the bus to keep the customer happy.

That doesn't look bad. The drop won't do much to help it.

Everything I've read about the drop kits seems be risky for little benefit. I bought it, but never installed it.

The only risk I have seen is if you are planning on thrashing your truck and you have a really weak skid.

Well people use it to decrease the angle of the CV joints, usually good for normal driving I guess. But when you compress the spring, your actually increasing the angle in the opposite direction, increasing the angle of the front shaft, and losing some ground clearance. Maybe it's more useful for 1st gens, not so much for 2nd gens.

This. I have heard this alot around the site. Most guys with 1st gens use front diff drops. Most guys with 2nd gens dont.

Morning! A lot of liftin goin on! Looking good guys. Hey Evan, that's what I've read also. I didn't use the drop after researching. Definitely more popular with the first gen's though. Cv's still alright after 14 months. Knock on wood.

What tires did you end up getting?

Hell yeah, V10's have nothing on the diesels when it comes to hauling.

Diff drops are much more effective on 1st Gens. On 2nd Gens, the diff drops are useless.

Looks good! It'll look sick once you get some meats on there
