    1.5 inch .095 welded onto the sliders and front bumper. The connection at the rack looks like this ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370876716.089976.jpg

    That way I can remove the rack if necessary. Gussets on front like so

    I'm bored and am avoiding housework.... :D
    In the last week or so - it's been a tacoma maintenance week.
    Cleaned cabin filter
    Rotate tires
    Front & rear diff oil changes
    replace ripped mud flaps
    Clean engine air filter
    lubricated driveshaft ujoints
    Washed outside, inside, and engine bay
    Checked fluids, etc.
    By the end of the week, my engine oil will need done also.

    My baby is 6 years old with 60K miles. Not as bright & shiney as it used to be. :pout: Everything is getting rusty.....:pout: :pout:
    Amazing how time flies......

    Hi Janster ! I've got very little rust and 65K. It's a little late but you might try what I do. Get a cheap Wagner sprayer and spray the frame, drive chain etc with boiled linseed oil. Power wash or if you don't have a power washer hose it first.
