I never had any noises. Mine were all rusted to hell so I couldn't get an alignment so I replaced them. The rubber in my bushings was still good when I replace them, everything just rusted together. If your LCA bushings are bad, you'll hear a clunk when you turn or hit a bump because the rubber isn't strong enough to hold. The same noise can happen if you don't tighten the LCA bolts to spec.

It wouldn't be terrible since the Eibach coils are so stiff. In an evasive maneuver, you'd notice it but for normal driving, you'd probably never be able to tell unless you're an aggressive cornerer (which if you are, you probably shouldn't be driving a lifted truck with A/T's )

If your LCA bushings are bad your truck will more than likely drift all over the road. Blew them apart on my 95 and driving was " interesting" to say the least.

Ok, my final word on diff drops: do it on a gen 1, do it on a gen 2 if you have a sturdy skid and understand it is only getting you back 1-2 degrees on the CVs. On the gen 2 it does rotate the diff, alleviating a little angle on the driveshaft. Don't do it on a Gen 2 if you are really, I mean really going to thrash on your truck because you will strike the diff and shove it into your motor. Take it for what it's worth, but that's the deal. IMO it's a small change, so if you strike the diff hard enough to break it free you are going to smash up the bottom of your motor with or without the diff drop.

X2. I'm glad I pulled out the sway. Truck gives better feedback. But now there is no swerving to miss Bambi on the highway, whatever critter it is gets smashed.

I beg to differ. I dont think they are stiff at all. John said the same thing that they'd be stiff but they are not. I drive slow lol. should have seen the spring compressor omg both of us stopped and had miguel rent one.

I saw a thread on the FJ blue room where some guys made a detachable sway bar. The drivers side had heim joints and a pin, and the sway bar itself had a bracket on it where you could unbolt it and remove it, leaving the passenger side connected still.

I'm gonna attempt that when I get a welder

Check that brake cover you fucked up . :D

You will snap the 2 mounting arms before you even come close to pushing into the engine .
I don't use the diff drop . I'd rather be low and drag my skid over rocks .

I would not install a diff drop on a 2nd Gen. There is literally no reason to ever install one. All it does is rotate the differential, it doesn't actually drop it. Rotating the diff doesn't alleviate anything. It just changes the angle between the diff and the transfer case and does very, very, very little to help the angle between the transfer case and the wheels (which is what you actually want to change).

They are significantly stiffer than stock coils. I noticed a big reduction in brake induced nose dive and it feels a lot more planted in corners. On a washboard or pothole riddled road, they are miserable and feel like they'll rattle the truck apart. For the most part, they're a nice setup but they are stiff. I want to try them with a better shock, I think a shock with better compression dampening would smooth them out.

There is no way the diff can come the far up with out ripping off the mounts.
I need the drop and skids my tin isnt cutting it.

Fuck sway bars. Rides so much better without it . Sure its a little rolly but you get over that in a day, when you hit a road with ice heaves and washboards, the suspension actually cycles and your teeth stay in your head:D 3 years without one so far.
