If you can find the right size, sure. I'm not sure if they make the correct size for the stock fogs, if I'm remembering correctly, they don't, that's why everyone uses Nokya.

The bulbs in the stock fog lights don't make that much of a difference. It's the reflector and the lens that make or break a light. I've had PIAA headlight bulbs before, they were nice but they're focused like the stock pattern so you don't blind people.

True, but I figure if I have to replace the fogs anyway..I'm not going to rip out good bulbs though.

I thought your fog lights were working well? Honestly, I'd look at Nokya bulbs. They did very well for me in the stock housings. I'm probably going with PIAA headlight bulbs again soon, I just have a cheap set of Slyvania bulbs in there now. The yellow light is killing me but they actually do light up pretty well!

PIAA does make a complete fog kit that installs where the factory fog lights would install. It's expensive though. :stirthepot:

Oops, I meant if I had to replace the fog bulbs anyways. Yes, the fogs are working pisser, no issues. I believe the PIAA kit for that is the 510?

Or maybe I can just go 12K HID and keep my stock reflectors *DUCKS*

No, the PIAA kit uses 540 lamps but they modify the rear of the housing at the factory. PIAA 510's apparently can be fit where the stock fogs go with the rock shields in place. They look pretty neat actually.

The 510's were the ones you mentioned to me a while back for the stock fogs. I like them, but I can't complain about my $80 Ebay ones.

Yeah, the 510's will fit, but PIAA's fog light kit that is specific to the Tacoma uses 540's.

That's what happens, and it gets blamed on the DD.
It drops the diff a little under 1/2". And while it only helps a little, it's 1-2 degrees less than without. Help the angle from the transfer case to the wheels? With a 2-3" lift it's dumb to clock the transfer to help the driveline angles, and that still won't do shit for your CV angles.

I feel like I clearly spelled out that the DD does little, and installation should depend wholly on the desired use of the truck. But what the hell, let's keep beating this horse.

I'm gonna install mine and if I see a difference ill leave them. And most likely take them off like must do anyways. I have no vibrations and holy god need an alignment. My ball joints are maxing out but that could just be my shitty ass never had an align after ball joints. Now this is how I see it.

My drivers front tire is killed from neg camber inner most is worn. The passenger side has wear but not to this extreme. I think this is why I'm having noises on this side as the alignment is worse on the drivers side.
