    I think a lot of the blame is lawyer’s people have long forgotten about being responsible for their own actions so you stick your hand under a mower loose a few fingers sue the mower co. because you could get your hands under a running mower. As far as automobiles its safety for the innocent and big pay outs by the insurance co. they like to rake it in but hate to pay it out. The Gov. plays a part because we demanded it NTSB is something we pay for might as well let them do their job I’m sure the car co.’s. would rather leave that stuff off I sure it’s pretty costly.

    Many people seem to be missing the point that if the VSC system is functioning correctly , it is not that big of a deal , maybe slightly sensitive if anything

    When you lift and the VSC system is hyper active and engages in low speed conditions , on normal dry roads , it is hazardous , the OP is experiencing the latter due to lifting his truck and not recalibrating the skid control ecu

    Doing the skid control ecu recalibration works for many people , it does not work for everyone judging by the thread I linked earlier

    The whole " don't fight the system , learn to drive within the limits of the system , how are you guys getting the VSC to engage , I'm so glad my truck doesn't have those nannies , you're a retard and a poor excuse for a Canadian " is not really relative to the hyper active VSC situation being experienced by the OP

    As for the OP's question about a full VSC / ABS off button , an ABS bypass switch will do this job perfectly and you actually don't have to cut the wires if you do the method as perscribed by TW member Landphil
