New here. Don't own a Taco just yet.

Howdy folks. I'm about to buy a 2nd gen Tacoma and have been lurking on here to get some of my questions answered before I make a final decision and pull the trigger. I've got an old F250 4x4 with a Powerstroke right now and it's time to downsize. Oh Betsy and I, we've had some adventures. Some good ones and some bad ones too. She's Kept me outta trouble more than once and always gotten me home. I'm going to miss the ol girl terribly. It just makes sense for me to downsize from two cars and a truck to one car and one fuel efficient truck. I'm looking at a 2nd gen access cab in 4wd with a v6 and six speed manual. Thanks for all the info you guys freely post here as far as opinions, DIY modifications, maintenance and things to look out for. I look forward to asking some questions and being able to contribute some experience and advice in the future.
