:confused:Just a heads up: the owners of the property out at Southern were out there Friday night and informed everyone there that they will be closing off most of the area to everyone. They said they will be doing "some developing" out there. Also they are tired of people burning tree's and killing the cattle. According to them fencing and signs will be posted in the near future.

If they are talking about developing the land out there, they are probably using the gripes to shift the PR nightmare.

Makes me wonder if it is time to sell the truck, by a BMW X5 and be old.

Anyone have a map of who owns what land out there? Initial searches mention BLM for some of it.

Anyone know of other access points? Guessing will still be able to wheel on the public lands but just need to find a new trailhead.

Man, times like this I miss Tucson. Lots of trail access close to town. Without the Puerco and the backside of the Sandias, seems you have quite a drive to a trailhead, living in Abq.

    Congratulations!

So I just saw a crazy breaking bad drug deal go down at the sonic in Socorro. A bunch of dudes wearing capri pants and wife beaters pulled up in low riders and crowded around an SUV for a while exchanging stuff, then took off.

I'm going to miss this place

I've been looking through some pictures of builds and stuff. I had forgotten what rust looked like.
