I dont know about this stuff. sometimes i see WAYY too much evidence and just start believing it.. but religiously, I believe in God because i AM a catholic. So I mean i believe in God and all but when they can coincidently try to relate religion and fact it kinda scares me.

 

I think the destruction of life on this planet again is inevitable. Although being human makes me believe that it won't happen in my life time.

 

Meh!!! Great fiction with digital animation of earth rendering scenes. John Cusack was much better in a fabulous film by Martin Scorcese called The Grifters.

 

according to numerous sources and the mayans.. 2012 is a possibility... that website IHC, institueforhumancontinuity.org said that there was a 94% chance of it happening... they are either right or they are lunatics on a cult bandwagon or something

 

Meh. Like Heaven's Gate? Meh. If this is true, we should all kill ourselves now. I think I will take a pass on that......

 

Damn I sure don't want that to happen, that would mean I wont be able to see the next Generation of Tacomas and that would suck.

 

nostradamus doesn't actually say everybody is going to die and the world will end, he just says its going to start a new era. He is very vague and it is hard to tell exactly what he means by this.

It's just a movie. It's sole purpose is to make $$. On the subject of Nostradamus, he was very vague and can be translated to mean just about whatever you wish. The end of the world? I rest easy at night with a firm belief that no one knows when or if it will ever happen or what happens after that. Just my 2 cents.

 

Does the mayan calendar really match up to our modern day roman calendar? Seems like apples and oranges.

 

nostradamus also predicted that the world would end on September 9th, 1999. Hoax for sure. But looks like a cool flick.

actually he didnt...Nostradamus had quatrains that talked about events as far out as 3012. it may not have been 3012 but it was 3000 something. Its been awhile since i did the nostradamus marathon. usually every fall i think the history and discovery channels do thier thing. its only been the past few years that they have started linking his stuff with the mayans on the history channel.

as for the Mayan calendar, no one knows why they ended it on that day but we do know that some crazy things will be going on with the planets, galaxy, and aligning of things. and they were pretty smart cats for their day and age. so we as we always do we start throwing out end of the world ideas.

 

In 2012 Elvis will re-appear. This is certain.

 

Will he come out of a "to be determined" bathroom? I mean that is really how he should make his entrance
