Big tires, big lift, Lots of stuff's.
Blocks will make the bed of your truck hit hard over bumps and what not. I would not do them.

Call up Alcan and give them the info of what you are looking for. They custom build them based on the lift height, extra weight (aftermarket bumpers, spare tire, bed rack, topper, etc)

Don't think they updated their website since the 80's.

1 inch blocks are fine. anything over that, you're gonna get axle wrap like a mofo. Especially with that 5.7 powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

OME has a nice leaf pack or Alcan can pretty much build whatever the hell you want.

When I need new packs I will go with alcan for those reasons. But I have Dakars now and I like them. I might need the aal before too long but good for now. I have shackle flips that I will be prepping to install, anyone know if I need more spring to take advantage of the flips? Should I get new shackles too? I think I need to sit down with Eric cuz I'm pretty sure he has the same ones I got...

I learned last night that the cons outweigh the pros of a shackle flip and they're not worth it

not a mod to take lightly or to jump into...

for many reasons i do not recommend a flip kit. there are many things that need to be considered and figured out before you should do something like this.

    but..

    :D

:D yeah you did it right. I just dont want to deal with one haha I would rather just get some stock replacement shackles from defined and get their cross brace with it and make the rear end stronger

I have considered getting a fab shop to custom make a cross member, that included the shackle mounts. Once I get everything else sorted (not truck stuff,) I will start making phone calls, etc.

Hmmm, interesting. Well maybe I will end up selling them. I will pick someone's brain over a meal one day before I go one way or the other. I like the increased droop but I haven't done enough research to know what the big drawbacks are.
