Im very pissed... it wasn't there when I left the show since I went to that side a few times through the event... I think I might know who did it but I don't have any evidence since it is quite literally the only person that has "beef" with me. It just so happen that friday night at the bars in down town san jose I parked in the free lot down the street instead of on the 4th floor pay lot or in the street across my bar like I did saturday.

Ive been coming out to the same 2 bars (next to each other) every weekend for the last 2 years, need less to say I know a lot of people there... but this one girl is sooo slutty and has slept with a good amount of my friends then go ape shit crazy when they don't want a commitment with her. I've warned guys about her antics and free loading mentality... sooo she isn't fond of me and so happen her newest bitch slave boy parked near my truck that night. But I cant do anything unless she tells one of her friends that like me way more then her....

The paint code is 3L5 and last time I asked the toyota stealership it was $20 for the pen

    Thanks!

But seriously....There's a lot of stuff I could/should do to keep 'er pristine, but I just don't have the time. If I planned on keeping 'er forever.... that'd be a different story. Chances are, in 4 years or so....I'll get a new one.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
let me know how much $ in four years. i may be ready for a project by then.

You are correct. What I have is a mere suspicion and without evidence I won't do anything. But I knoew if it is her, she'll drop the ball eventually and I'll seek a lawsuit. Again. If it is her

Made a cardboard mockup for a fridge shelf in the rear seat. Needs some adjusting but not too bad for a first draft

X2 here on this one for me too. The dealership kept calling me over and over trying to put me in a new one. She finally quit calling me when I told her, Lady, when the doors fall off I will be welding them back on. :)

I kept my last Toyota p/u ('94 - pre-Taco) until This past December - I was having some overheating problems - turned out it was a blown head gasket PLUS a bad radiator/water pump. PLUE the P/S pump was on its way out; Was time for a new timing belt (who ever came up with the idea of holding an engine together with a rubber band???), probably a new clutch (still was on the original), and finally - a leaky main seal (at the back of the crankshaft).

Would have cost >$4k to get it all straightened out. 19-year old truck, with 194k miles... couldn't justify it.

So now I have a brand new truck (4x2, instead of 4x4), and hopefully, this one will treat me as well as the last one.

Prior to owning my 2009 double cab TRD Off Road Tacoma, I owned a 1997 FZJ80 Land Cruiser. The Land Cruiser was heavily modified and I loved it, especially the custom rear bumper. The rear bumper was designed with dual swing-outs and was built by Iron Pig Offroad with some 4x4 Labs parts. When I purchased my Tacoma I knew that I would eventually want a similar bumper on the Tacoma. I spent the last few years looking at rear bumper options and nothing really struck my fancy. So, I eventually talked with Billy from Brute Force Fabrication and he offered to build me a custom bumper based on design cues from me and pictures of my FZJ80 bumper. The masterpiece below is that bumper. The bumper is a high clearance / dual swing-out design with rear bed protection in the form of slightly flared DOM tubing. It has integrated recovery points and a hidden tow-hitch. The dual swing-outs can hold the 33” spare, two Jerry cans, and a Hi-Lift (currently not mounted). The high clearance design required cutting the bed. I cut the bed by running a tape line to the wheel well using blue painters tape. The bed was then cut using both an electric cut-off and pneumatic cut-off tool. After the metal was cut to the desired specification (using the Mach 1 eyeball); I used a Dremel with different bits to debur and radius the edges. Once they were smooth I painted them (inside and out) with Rust-Oleum Truck Bed Coating Spray. I then followed that up with actual semi-gloss black Rust-Oleum Protective Enamel from a half-pint can. The installation was pretty easy and everything went together – including the factory tow-plug and license plate lights perfectly. The bumper is extremely well built and I opted to paint the bumper fully using Rust-Oleum Automotive Sandable Primer followed by numerous coats of flat black Rust-Oleum Protective Enamel from the infamous rattle can. I did this so I can quickly and easily touch-up any scrapes gathered while playing in rocks or in the woods. I actually use my truck and wanted to avoid powder coating the rear bumper; which, from my experience gets dragged over rocks a lot more than the front bumper. None the less, enjoy the pictures. The installation took 2 days – partly because of the rain and partly because I am anal and pretty detail focused. If you want an awesome bumper call Billy and ask for the “Mark Special”.
