Anyone evere go to these car meets that are popping up everywhere? Going to be at the one in MV in ikea/Costco lot.

 

Anyone hear about an off road day for cruisin grand in Escondido?

 

Yea my buddy Edwin runs those, there's one almost everyday now all in different locations, I only go to the Wednesday one because its close to where I live

 

I think they had one last year, not a big turnout . If they have One this year I'd like to go!

Shiiieeeet wasnt hot, gonna be 95 fucking degrees for my race on Saturday, horrified. Especially a slow technical type competition where the course is only 8 miles long and will likely take over 2 hours, I can normally do 8 miles in a desert race in less than 7 minutes, lol.



And on another note I got a job offer doing Andover Controls for hospital Climate systems, however the jobs are all over the fucking place, all the way down to Landcaster.
Would have to wake up at 4:30 AM and drive for 1-2 hours each way and they only pay $24 to start but should be up to $30 within the end of the year if I learn fast (and I do). I get a gas card, full bennies, etc. But its a full time gig and during racing season its gonna suck not having that extra day to prepare.
THey said it could lead to becoming a chiller tech but those guys are on call for life pretty much but make in the 200K range, but what good is money if you have no time to spend it?

I dunno, not digging the possible driving for 4 hours a day part so much. If I did I would need to buy a Yamaha R1 for a commuter
