Tell me about it - I'm wishing I had more money for Wheels/Tires/5100s/etc. after getting this truck.

Here it is with my older 0561. Loving the black blade.

I've actually been thinning down the collection (with guns as well) to just what I actually use and getting rid of all of the safe-queens. I've sold some of the above pictured folders (and a few fixed-blades). I got rid of my 0561, but have been seriously thinking about picking up another - I wasn't into super-long folders at the time, but since I got this Badmonkey, I'm seriously digging the extra blade-length when I need it.

I've got too many hobbies and not enough time/money. Especially with kids and their extra curricular activities.

that looks a lot like the benchmade adamas, i like the look. they are almost the same price too. almost the same thing except the gerber is s30v steel and a tanto. it kind of looks like the lanyard hole is a glass breaker too? the benchmade is made of d2 steel, idk how that compares to s30v though. i can see why the gerber is sold out everywhere.

I actually just got rid of my small 21 in hopes of picking up a large Carbon Fiber 21.

I'm negotiating for a trade toward one now, but I don't know that the guy I'm trading with wants to get rid of his knife (which I totally understand).

I understand that, I don't think I could bring my self to get rid of mine

    Are you on bladeforums too?

I found out about CRK there. Since I got this one (first one I got), I have wanted to get more, I think if I get another any time soon, I will get a 25, they look awesome. I got lucky and found mine at a gun show, for 370, I sent it into CRK for engraving too.

The gerber is also assisted opening, the lanyard hole is a glass breaker or force multiplier tool. I think the bench made Adamas is a bit larger than the gerber.

i forgot i saw the assisted opening, i wasnt a fan of the gerber assisted opening, the SOG was a lot faster, the gerber i tried was a cheap one though so maybe thats why

Yeah, I'm over on BF - that's a nice CRK (did you get the engraving done, or was it already done?).

I noticed gerber has the old fast and the fast 2.0. Hopefully this one will be a solid knife or I just wasted 110...
The assisted opening on my sog is slow. It always has been slow. My kershaws were quicker.

I sent it in to them when I did this....I decided to get the engraving done while it was there. Price was a lot better than I was expecting, I think I paid 30 ish for the engraving

The titanium is taking on a really nice finish from carrying it. My only complaint on any sebenza is how the titanium feels when you first get it. After carrying it I like it a lot better (and I liked it a lot before). I appreciate the knife more the more I carry it

Yea. I ordered mine from theultimateknife.com however I did not realize at the time that they were out of stock. (I just overlooked it, my bad).
So after looking at my order 3 days later it still said "order no fullfilled". I was like Wtf?

I called the next morning and spoke with someone who sounded like he was in charge of the entire operations over at tuk.com and said they had been out of stock for awhile.
Something about the shipping orders or such and such from Italy.
Said there was a 6-8 week wait.
Well, its been 7 weeks now so I guess I'll call again.
I just wished I had seen that they were out of stock because I would have bought another blade somewhere else.

Curently carrying a Gerber paratrooper. Not super quality but this thing flicks open like nothing I have ever seen.
