A few months ago I stopped by the Welcome Center just north of SLT. They had a few free maps. Also got some from the Forestry Department. I paid for one map they had at the Forestry Department that actually shows quite a bit of detail, its the Humbolt-Toiyabe National Forests Carson Ranger District. And also...I just stumble across trails while out exploring around. Some end up ok, some suck.

To be honest half the shit on the page makes me question if the poster is retarded and not the owner of the vehicle in the picture.

Like oh no! Someone parked crooked and stayed inside the lines! Dildos.

Hey guys, well, I've had my Tacoma for a little while and other than a few small issues, I do enjoy the truck. I seem to have the whistle that seems to be either from the windshield or the grill, not sure which, but it is annoying for sure. Going to figure out where its coming from and see if the dealer will fix it.

I am driving up to Seattle to pick up my girlfriend who is moving down here with me (Bay Area, where I work). We are getting a 6x12 U-Haul trailer for her stuff. Is there anything I need to be aware of or do to the truck for this trip? I have the factory tow package and the truck is still all stock. I don't plan on going any faster than 55-60 or doing anything stupid while driving. I would hope that the truck is capable of handling this.

Lastly, providing everything works out on the trip down and I remain happy with the truck...anyone have thoughts on the factory superchargers? I had one on my Lexus/Land Cruiser and enjoyed it. The one thing I can say that I am disappointed about is the truck cannot get over Donner without downshifting. I know I'm comparing it to a my Lexus which had 5.29s and the supercharger, but the truck weighs less and should be able to handle it better. Do you think that by doing this it would allow the truck to be capable of that?

Guess that's enough of my ramblings for today.

    Have a great day

    Happy Friday guys

I guess the changes have started, although just a little at a time. I just got some new tires, Toyo AT II in the OEM size for now. I figured I'd see if there was any interest in the stock OEM tires. They have 1651 miles on them. I am asking $400.00. I would be able to bring them up in probably a few weeks when I come back up. Although, since I am driving the truck back up to Seattle on Tuesday, so I want to put them on the main tire/wheel forum to see if there is any interest there.

    Tundra TRD/OR
    - SOLD! - 20 Jul - SOLD! -

I've decided I'm not getting any younger and want more comfort (laziness) in my life. As such, I've decided to trade up to a Tundra for more room and more comfy ride. I've also figured that I'll move up to either a pop-up cab-over camper or possibly a trailer, just haven't figured which yet. So to make a long story longer, I'm selling my RTT. Here's what I've got-

Autohome Maggiolina Airland (small) plus changing room plus awning-

The tent comes from the factory with 3" foam mattress, two pillows, ladder (tall 4x4), 12V dome light, crank handle; plus I'm including a 3" memory foam topper, spare crank handle, Harken ceiling lift and a 12V gel cell that I use for the dome light.

Mattress topper. I've always kept a sheet over this then put my sleeping bag on top of that-

    Factory (hard) mattress-

Factory pillows (I always used one from home) and dome light. Light has a 12 or 15 ft cord which you can run out of the tent to plug into the truck or whatever, I just gave it alligator clips and stick a small batt inside the tent-

There are no rips or tears and all windows/doors/zippers work flawlessly-

Better awning pic. This is the awning which I used last summer when this pic was taken. The co. sent me the wrong color (pictured) which has since been rectified. The awning I'm including with the tent is brand-new and never used. I took it out with me the last trip, but never took it out of the bag-

Changing room and awning can each be mounted on either side of tent-

Airland is their most aerodynamic tent and has virtually no difference on my MPG when hauling it (lousy with/without tent)-

    Ceiling lift system-

I purchased this tent in 2011 and have used it approx 10-12 times, the longest of which was a two-week run last summer. Save for a slight scrape on top of the case (no structural damage) where I mis-judged my height when entering the garage, and some pine tar on the changing room skirt (which I'm trying to figure out how to remove) the whole setup is in excellent condition.

All told, the various pieces/parts come up to over $3400 new. I'm asking $2500 OBO

If interested or have any questions, just toss me a PM. The tent is currently located in the greater Reno area and I can make arrangements to bring it to Reno/Carson/Tahoe/Fallon if serious about purchase. I'm putting it up here first for TW folks before going to CL. Thanks!
