Ditto. I would like exhaust/ header. On one hand I like how quiet out is now, on the other hand all you hear when I punch it is the gears whining:lol:

 

Carrier bearing finally took a shit . Luckily it was right down the street from my house . Did 5mph home .

Lucky for me i have a spare driveshaft so I can get to work .

 

What happened to it? I figured it would be a slow failure, like a wheel bearing going out?

 

I already got them. Im not even sure if i ever got a tracking number.

Side note, I got my new BAMF plates in the mail the other day and they look awesome! Jerry changed up his logo a bit

 

I'm getting there! I need to get them painted and mounted. Basically, he reversed the plates. So instead of a plate that he cut BAMF out of, the new logo is bigger BAMF lettering.

 

You could always order a set of sliders and see for yourself

 

Speaking of sliders--I was wondering, as a poll to everyone here with them, how many coats of *insert whatever you coated your sliders with* did you apply before you were satisfied and hooked them up? So far I've applied 1 coat of the self etching primer and 2 coats of the rattle can bed liner from Rustoleum and wasn't sure if I should hit 'em with more or move one???

Actually discussing putting a 22r and 5 speed in it with my dad at the moment

 

I used 1 coat of Automotive Primer (I think Duplicolor?) and probably 3 coats of Rustoleum Bedliner. I would not recommend the Rustoleum Bedliner any longer. It's held up very well on my front end (light bar and lower valance) but doesn't take rock chips well and has been chipping off. I'm going to recoat them with the blue can bed liner from Duplicolor.

 

Sure, and I could also be scraping them on the ground all the time with the added weight. I'll stick with my Nerf bars haha

 

That's ok, it's what they're made for! They're aren't that heavy, total weight for my double cab sliders was about 100# for both.

 

That might be too much for my 5 lug haha..think my Nerfs are 60 or so

 

It was squeaking for about a week . Then last night I came to a stop sign on a hill . As soon as the torque went to rear wheel it went bang and I limped home.
On a side note I stopped at the parts store and found out its a dealer only part. Just my luck another expensive toyota replacement part .

1 coat of primer 2 coats of rattle can paint . Lasted a year . Just did a quick touch up a few weeks ago .
