I want them to keep him but I hope they don't give him 10mil a year.

 

It is always nice to keep the Stars, but it certainly comes with a price. Unfortunately not with a guarantee(see 2013 3rd round playoff exit)

 

Plus it limits what you can do with the rest of the team

 

with the cap coming down its going to be hard to see if they can pay him 10 mil per

 

Especially with this years playoff performance

 

Bylsma gets a 2 year extension after 4 years of terrible playoff exits. Brilliant. I hope he changes his system because more of the same isnt going to cut it.

 

Interested to see what happens in Pittsburgh, considering they now have seven guys who are unrestricted free agents.

Keeping Bylsma might be the best thing for now. Vancouver went and fired AV and have limited options for an experienced replacement. They have even resorted to interviewing Torts. Firing a coach is only as effective as the replacement you have to fill the vacancy.
