    I really hope their property is okay. This time of year is always scary for the mountains. Most of these places need to burn to get rid of beetle kill but when people live in those areas, what do you do?

    Ya I tried but the camera doesn't show the halos b/c the HIDs overpower the camera lens..if that makes sense.

    Crap. I'm listening to the police scanner and they said they just evacuated Fire Station 2 and they got all equipment out.

    EDIT Actually stand corrected...it's on the other side of our friends house so it would get to him before the station. Hopefully he's doing ok.

    EDIT again.

    Now we have ANOTHER friend needing to evac! STAHP IT FIRE!

    Haha! I know not a damn thing. I don't even think our wild land team has been activated to go to any fires yet. We have been keeping up on them in our area. We had a big one that almost got out of control on us. We send every station we have from the start of every wild fire though. We've been lucky the last few years.

    We didn't even eat dinner the first night of my last rotation. I don't cook much at station 1. My engineer likes to cook. ;)they would not go on a fire without me I'm the crew grunt haha.
