What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

When I bought my truck I took off the bedside TRD decals...well.....6 years later...put some back on

 

I just had to get repair estimate completed, someone hit my parked truck yesterday. $1212 repair bill for their insurance and cost of a rental car... Pissed to say the least

 

Lol. You could have sold it on TW, and someone like me might have bought it. Haha

 

I like the Toyota hooks. My 01 Ford had 2 closed ones. Closed hooks are worthless to me because my strap has loops. This means that that the other vehicle has to have an open hook. Trailer ball is not necessrily a good pull point. Buddy had a freind whose girlfriend was killed when the ball broke off the other truck and hit her in the back of the head. Nylon strap acted like a slingshot.

Haha. Good question. I have no idea what the little hook is for. My guess for the square shape is for strength. And the the T-end is so your strap does slip off.

 

Tie down for transport, I believe.

Agree. You can get the clevis and shackle as a kit. This is an inexpensive way to put a safe snatch point in the rear.

That's a nice kit. I just got a ARB kit, and my 3-ton More Power Puller is supposed to arrive today.

I also ordered a winch extension line. This all should do me just fine for now; until I put a hidden winch on someday.

 

How much was the come-a-long?

Everything on this truck matches in great! Even the SOA sticker is pretty badass, Except for those tail lights.. I dont know if i really LOVE them or if i just outright disgust them haha

Dude.... Spend the 140 and replace those bedrails! i dont know how you do that but it would drive me up the fucking wall having to look at that.
