That's about double what it should cost. Dealerships around here throw ridiculous markups on parts.

It does sound high but is it really atypical for the area?

Bear in mind after my experience with GM dealers and their business practices it takes a good amount to wow me in that area.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I did 3 coats of rustoleum enemal, the rock chips are adding up. Touching them up is on my last, then i might do something to prevent the chips. I only get them on the small connecting peices facing the front tires.

Probably not a-typical but the stealerships should be ashamed with the markups they put on parts. Camelback Toyota is in AZ and I can get them to ship parts to my door and still be 40-50% cheaper than if I drove to a local dealership. And you know they still at least have some markup on the parts they sell.

Not my fault . That's the replacement driveshaft I got from rob . He is looking into the warranty for me now.
    Ill be there Friday .

 That's exactly why I don't want a car with a mind of it's own and the ability to accelerate, stop and steer on it's own. It's just a matter of time before we'll be arguing with the car's computer (think Space Odessy 3000, "I'm afraid I can't do that Dave")

Yup..IMO one general issue with "mind of its own" electronics is they lack the ability to learn from things.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
X2. 1 coat of self etching primer (1 can), 2 coats of rattle can rustoleum (2 cans). But I'm selling those. Mine are linexed.

Hey guys, just wanted to put my first post here! I just picked up my 2013 MGM DCLB TRD Sport with tow package yesterday.

I've been lurking here for about a year and finally got the funds to make the truck work!! It's been my dream vehicle for a few years now. I'm coming from a 2004 SVT Focus. I plan on keeping the focus and DDing it till I move from Dover. I want to keep the truck as far away from my apartment as I can... I also have a 2008 KTM 690 Duke for the warmer days =]

I won't be able to provide much excitement around here as funds for modding are non existent for the foreseeable future. Besides a set of weathertechs that I picked up for a steal.

Anyways, thanks for providing great information and entertainment for my work day. Love this forum. Sorry for the long post
