Much appreciated man! I'll have to save a couple of those links for future purchases.

Thanks for the info! I'm currently sitting here with one of these in my cart.

I was going to call ProVape and ask them then ton of questions that I have, but quickly found that they do not take phone calls, only e-mails. That's poor customer service for such an expensive product IMO.

My main question: Atomizer vs Cartomizer vs tank? I like the tank idea, but it seems every one that I've looked at has tons of complaints of leaks and stopping working randomly.

What do you guys recommend for a long lasting and durable setup? It seems the question above is the only thing that has me confused about the whole thing.

Weather you recommend Tank, Atomizer, or Cartomizer; What would work best with the Provari?

Lastly, does anyone have a ProVape Provari, and can give me their review on it?

4 of my friends have the Provari, and they have never had a single issue with it, and it's always outperformed ANY vaping system I've had (eGo C, eVic, SVD). It's literally bulletproof.

I vote tank+cartomizer. Very little upkeep, never ONCE leaked on me, always provides a reliable vape. The double coil cartos will last about 2 weeks of vaping all day, and they are about $5.00 per box of 5.

I've had atomizers, clearomizers, and tankomizers. They all leaked and started tasting like shit/growing mold. Filling them is harder as well.

Get yourself a quality tank (glass and stainless steel), with double O-rings, and it'll never leak.

Tank+cartomizer? Do they work together? I assumed they were separate setups.

    What brand do you recommend?

Just a bunch of old crap
I needed something simple to get me off of real cigs, and a friend of mine was already doing the Blu cig. I tried it out and liked the draw and vape, so I picked it up and I'm a month in with no turning back. I don't want to make a hobby out of it like many do, I just want to get my cardio back while I'm working out, and then quit nicotine altogether.

I have to say that the Blu is a really simple and well-thought-out solution for those of us that don't want the hassle. It's really easy to use with the charger pack thing that keeps an extra battery charged up all the time. It sure makes going into work meetings much easier without smelling like smoke, and I can hit it up in an airplane bathroom on those long flights. Really convenient for me and the price works out to 1/6 the cost of regular cigs (and my cardio is already a beast now).

    No turning back...

As stated earlier, I have a Cirrus Vapes $55 glass/stainless steel tank and Smoktech low resistance, standard length, double coil cartomizers.

shown below, from top to bottom, Vape Revolution mouthpiece, Cirrus tank, cartomizer inside of it, and then the iTazte SVD mod and battery holder.

I very much appreciate your help!

    I currently have:
    Provape Provari starter kit
Sirras Tank - Large (comes with a tip)

One last question for you, if you don't mind.

From what I've read on different forums, some carto's are designed for certain tanks. Some with a single hole, some with two holes, and some with no holes at all.

The problem I'm finding, is that all the carto's that I'm finding do not state weather they have any holes for tanks or not, or how many holes, if any, are required for which tanks.

EDIT: Also, what's the difference in the one's with different OHM's?

    [IMG][IMG]Here's my set up.

It's an ego-c-twist with a smok cartomizer tank. The cartomizer a alittle tricky to use... I feel the cartomizer puts out a much stronger vape then the regular clearmonizers that come with the initial kit. I like the longer metal tip, cools the vape seems like you get more flavor that way

Yes! Would be fun to get somebody else's opinion. I seem to be at just under 1.0ml juice per day. I want to try a bunch and don't want to let stuff sit.

Nice work! I've started myself with 2 ego-c twist VV 1100 and 2 Protanks. I've not touched an analog in 9 days. From day 2 no more lung cookies in the morning :D

I know I'm kind of a newb, and that is a superb setup. I am looking to get an APV and similar setup as well. However, I still think there's some merit to having a smaller setup (like e-go twist with a Protank Mini) for car, work or wherever you don't want a large device.

I smoked about a pack every 3 days so not very heavy but smoking for 24 years. Chewed a tin a day during senior year of high school. I'm using a 12mg juices now. IMHO, it seems to be kind of similar drag-for-drag to a Marlboro Light.

I could care less about quitting nicotine. I was motivated to quit smoking analogs because I was sitting at my computer a few months ago and found myself short of breath. Could be anxiety or other things but whatever. Just got me thinking. I've given crappy attempts before with the gum or cold turkey. Never could quit for longer than 3 days.

I digress - the main point was that I think with my experience 18mg would give me quite a kick. Good luck and experiment to find your sweet spot  This thread FTW.

Would this be a good setup if you have a bunch of different flavors and want to sample them all?

Welcome to the club! My Tacoma has been feeling a bit jealous of the attention I've paid to my e-cigarette hobby lately. I'm going to have to give her a nice wash and wax this weekend.

    Thanks PM sent.

I have 4 Kanger T3s each loaded with a different flavor.
I cleaned one out this afternoon to try a free sample (Albino Drake) & I'm cleaning one out now to try the other free sample (Lemon Breezy). Mt Baker gives you a free sample (15ml) with every order over $15 & I found out you can request what you want to try.

Cartos have different lengths, and the holes are in different spots along the carto.

Too low, and you wont get any juice through them at all.

Too high, and you'll constantly need to fill it to that level, not being able to go empty.

Small holes, you'll have to draw a bit harder and take "dry" hits to prime the carto filament more often.

Big holes, you'll drown the carto and get juice in your mouth...yuck.

Laser cut holes, perfect size, sitting JUST above the line where your carto is visible in the tank, PERFECT CARTO.

No holes, and you'll need a punch to make your own. (I do NOT like this method because you will end up bending the carto tube, and damaging the coil inside along with screwing up the fitment of the carto to your tanks end caps.

Standard resistance = 3.0 ohms = cooler coil = less vape = longer lasting carto.

Low resistance = 1.8 - 2.0 ohm = hotter coil = more vape = shorter carto life (I average 2 weeks on these, vaping all day)

IMPORTANT!!! I suggest finding a local shop to buy your cartos and juice...and THIS GOES FOR EVERYBODY!!! 2 reasons why...

    1. You can test fit ANYTHING, and make sure the cartos you're buying have the right resistance, the right hole placement, and the right hole size.

    2. Local vape shops like to carry locally made juice. Support your local juice craftsmen. They usually put a lot of time and effort into making some usually pretty damn good shit. My personal favorite is Jameson's Irish Vapes. He's local to SoCal, and all his flavors come from fruits and flavors found at the Santa Monica farmer's market. He personally squeezes the fruit juices into his vapes, and the end result tastes like heaven. I'm actually a bit spoiled by this guy, because everything else I try tastes like mass produced chinese crap now.

    Hope that helps! :)

Don't get me wrong, I have an eGo-C twist and two eGo-T's as backups/road trip vapes. Here's my vape evolution.

    Blu > eGo-T > eGo-T2 > eGo-C short > eGo-C long > eVic > iTazte SVD

The small setups are great, but I've graduated to needing a vape that can perform flawlessly for 16-18 hours in a full day. I vape 18mg, ALL DAY...I'm very much still addicted to nicotine, but I have no problem with that because I feel much healthier than when I was smoking a pack a day.

Grab like 4 or 5 different color chinese (plastic) tanks, and a few boxes of cartos. Fill each one with a diff color, and just remember which tank is which, or label them. Do not mix flavors into the same carto. I've done it in desperation, and it was a mistake. Starts tasting like a roll of quarters in your mouth.

Just make sure you don't let one sit for too long, especially in extreme heat or cold. Heat will loosen up the oils in the juice, making it watery and too viscous (leaks, tastes bad, etc). Cold will thicken it up and make it difficult to vape on.

This thread is awesome. E-Cigarettes have saved my dad's, my brother's, and a bunch of my friend's lives. If these things weren't around, we'd all still be puffing our lungs and wallets away, only to die at the mercy of the damage done by some chemicals wrapped in paper and a lighter. Glad I can help you guys out. Don't give up, when the going gets tough, grab the vape.
