You know maybe I just never noticed before, but today when I filled up at my gas station the receipt read at the bottom of the receipt that the gasoline contained no more than 5% biodiesels. I never heard of that, I do know about ethanol, but biodiesels? Is that bad in the long run for gasoline engines or is that nothing to worry about? Thanks for all replies.

    No gasoline contains biodiesel...

If you put B5 in your truck, you're in big trouble...

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biodiesel

Post a pic of your receipt for clarification, odds are it is just a standard disclaimer for their diesel customers

Yah that gas station would have HUGE lawsuits for contaminating unleaded fuel with biodiesel. Im willing to bet like its been said that it is just a general disclaimer no matter what you fill up just so they have there ass covered.

Hello Monster1, it is nothing to worry about as that is just a general disclaimer to cover themselves for those who use Diesel. Your receipt shows that you used unleaded gas which does not contain bio fuels.

Gasoline has gotten cheaper in grade, but more expensive in quanity. Even buying premium doesnt really save much engine... Gasoline used to be some QUALITY shit... Not its all about the buck.

When the government mandates that 10% of your gasoline isn't gasoline it's kinda hard to maintain a quality product.

Who sells 100% gasoline anymore, it seems that all of them are 10% ethanol.

I used http://pure-gas.org/ to find that one of my local hyvee has a low ethanol content.. (We have 2 hyvee gas stations in town) . A independient person tested it, and found it to be true. Since then I have been sure to use that station, and I see a 1.5 to 2 MPG increase..

You can go here http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp and find stations if there is any in your area. I live closer to Houston and there are none so I have to import it from Louisiana which is the closet place for me.
