I just bought a E-Revo 1/10 4x4 Brushed. I went Brushed to keep it waterproof. Upgraded to 2 - 2S Lipos, 775 Titan motor upgrade with 17T Pinion, and 56 or 58T Spur (can't remember). Going to do a 2200 or 2400 brushless setup soon, and will be purchasing the Dewalt twin brushed setup as well. This way I will be able to switch back and forth as needed if I want to play in water lol.

Instead of dropping dough on a dual brushed and a brushless system, just pick up the waterproof mamba max system. Would cost about the same and both brushed and brushless but there's no switching back and forth!

Yeah that's a good point. Open to suggestions on all this. I'm new to the hobby. Is the mamba pretty fast for top speed, but still have torque?

That they are.. but they are a blast to drive, I sold mine to get the twin hammers, and when someone offered a straight up trade for my honcho i jumped on it to get one back. Once you get it set up you shouldnt have to pull the cage often.

Well I ordered a Mamba Monster 2200 waterproof setup for my E Revo. After watching the YouTube vids I decided I needed 70+ mph lol. A 4S like I am running I found a guy GPS 72.8 and found a 6S running upper 80s. Not sure on the gearing.... But dang they're fast and still torque monsters.
