Getting the looks

I've been taking my son vehicle shopping and it seems kinda funny when I pull up to these dealerships I get all these stares. Now I'm very proud of my tacoma and it feels pretty good when these salesmen come up and ask about my truck. They are more interested in my tacoma than selling me a vehicle for my son. The last dealership I went to I spent about 20 minutes with the General Manager just talking about the X-SP package.

 

lol you are so right. their mouths drool and their jaws drop. it feels good to be king for a few minutes

 

is ur wife coming with you 2? that would explain things a bit more.

 

As a matter of fact, she hates dealerships but she did go with us today. She stayed in the tacoma and listened to the radio. Maybe that's why they kept wanting to go over and look inside!!!

 

what exactly is the X-sp package?

 

Basically this:

- Carbon Fiber Dash Kit
- Sport Exhaust
- (2) X-SP Badges
- X-SP Floor Mats
- X-SP Stainless Steel Step Tube
- 20 inch Enkei Wheels/Tires

I believe it's all dealer installed stuff so it may vary from region to region or even dealer to dealer. The telltale sign of this package is the 20" Enkei's.

It comes with Borla Exhaust also. It is a Southeast Toyota package. You can add this stuff after the fact. The Carbon Fiber kit is just glued on though.

 

and leather

 

i think the leather is something the just stared with the 07 and 08 my 06 did not have leather it also comes with a borla drop in intake filter. I also get alot of looks espacially when you leave the southeast it seemed like ever where i went up north in new york i got asked questions.

 

My 07 doesn't have leather, I wish it did though!
